Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Warwick Business School’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Well, my main goal was to sharpen my strategic thinking and train my leadership skills. Moreover, having colleagues with several years of experience was equally important. In this sense, the WBS MBA became my optimal choice.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Warwick Business School? So far, I have enjoyed the LeadershipPlus module the most. Firstly, the module pushed me to genuinely reflect on my successes and failures. Secondly, it taught me a strategic model called ASSERT, which I have been using ever since …! Aside from this, I am also loving the Consulting Case Club, which I lead, by supporting team members to address case studies and to become familiarised with the application process.

What has been your best memory at the Warwick Business School so far? Why? Daniel Porot’s career workshop has been my best memory so far. Through his tips and examples about networking, career prospects, and most importantly salary negotiation, I felt more robust to define a strategy to thoughtfully approach the right networking opportunities, discuss my post-MBA job, and negotiate a fair salary. I was calm, confident, and it worked very well thanks to that insightful workshop!

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Being a Deputy MD in a firm of 2,000 employees in 2016 is my biggest accomplishment so far. Back then I was sure that the competitive consulting world prepares you for everything!

What do you hope to do after graduation? After the MBA, I will be a Strategy Manager (focused on Supply Chain) in a Strategy consulting firm.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into Warwick Business School’s MBA program? From my experience, prospective applicants must conspicuously demonstrate two personal aspects and two professional achievements that highlight their attractiveness as a potential MBA candidate.
