During the first year, Terry MBA students are introduced to fundamental business concepts that serve as a foundation for their chosen concentration. Beginning in the spring of the first year, students can begin to implement their personal concentration of study with two courses outside of the foundational core curriculum. In the second year, students will immerse themselves in their chosen area of concentration while fulfilling their remaining core classes.

There are six concentrations for students to choose from. In addition, electives offered by the MIS and Accounting departments enable students to develop additional depth in a given area. Terry MBA students also may work with program officials to create a customized curriculum plan if his or her career needs require courses outside of the regular course of study.
