Regardless of your undergraduate major, the Mason School’s Master of
Accounting (MAcc) degree will prepare you to meet the growing demand for
highly skilled financial professionals.

Program Format and Schedule

Prerequisites: Statistics, Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I & II, Cost Accounting, Auditing and Introduction to US Taxation.
9 months with additional summer coursework for non-accounting majors
Full-time residential, 30 credits with choice of 5 emphases (Accounting Analytics, Auditing & Assurance, Integrated Winter Field Experience (Experiential), Taxation and Valuation & Advisory Services)
