A Bernie Madoff Course at Harvard?

Bernie Madoff is still telling lies—even from jail.

The infamous swindler whose Ponzi scheme caused thousands of investors to lose an estimated $18 billion claims that he has been in talks to help Harvard Business School develop courses in both ethics and entrepreneurship.

Madoff made the claims in a jailhouse interview with Fox Business Network reporter Charlie Gasparino. Madoff said that Harvard’s focus is in “building an entrepreneurial course” not just on his career but also on the days before he ran his hedge fund fraud for which he is serving a 150-year sentence in prison.

According to Madoff, the course was going to focus “around my experiences building my market making and Prop trading business and my role in NASDAQ and electronic trading. I have been approached by number of other business schools but have only committed to Harvard.”

Not so fast, Harvard replied. “The entire matter is not true,” an HBS spokesman told FBN. “The business school is not working with Bernard Madoff on anything.”
