What Ever Happened To The MBAs On The Apprentice? by: Jeff Schmitt on September 05, 2014 September 5, 2014 Copy Link Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Email Share on LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp Share on Reddit Donald Trump with Season 1 Winner Bill Rancic Season 3: Verna Felton: Talk about MBAs making an impression!Gould may have been the first contestant fired, but Fulton was the first one to quit. Fulton, who holds an MBA from the City University of Seattle, departed claiming exhaustion (which probably raised the eyebrows of her bosses at Microsoft). Since leaving, Felton has written a book. At last check, she worked at the Department of Commerce for the State of Washington. Season 4: Randal Pinkett Highlights Randal Pinkett: The second overall winner to come from the MBA ranks, Pinkett shocked audiences by slapping down Trump’s suggestion of hiring his main competitor as well. An MIT Sloan MBA, Pinkett holds a master’s degree in computer science from Oxford, a master’s in electrical engineering from MIT, and a Ph.D. in media arts and sciences from MIT. After spending a year on renovating Trump properties in Atlantic City, Dr. Pinkett returned to his Newark-based firm, BCT Partners, where he conducts management, information technology, nonprofit, and government consulting. This former Rhodes Scholar has also authored three books and currently serves as Vice-Chairperson of the New Jersey Public Research Institute. Toral Mehta Toral Mehta: It was one thing after another for this Wharton grad, who first bombed a presentation and then refused to don a costume to promote Dairy Queen. Needless to say, the ax fell swift. After the show, Mehta returned to investment banking (she already had homes in New York City, London, and Miami Beach before even joining The Apprentice cast). Most recently, Mehta launched a luxury brand called ChocotailNYC, where high grade chocolate and liqueurs are fused together. Mark Lamkin: One of the jewels of Bellarmine’s MBA program, Lamkin lasted until week six, when he – along with three teammates – were fired by Trump in a board room massacre. Talk about a packed taxi! Since his time under Trump’s tutelage, Lamkin has returned to Lamkin Wealth Management, a Louisville-based firm he founded in 2001. Ironically, Lamkin makes no mention of his Apprentice experience on his company bio or Linkedin. Note: Melissa Holovach, the first contestant fired in season four, had earned a Master’s in accounting from the University of Denver before participating on the show.
