INSEAD’s Acceptance Letter

As the Dean with responsibility for the INSEAD MBA Programme, I would like to personally congratulate you on your acceptance to the Class of July 2016. Passing the rigorous and competitive admissions process is an achievement of which you can be very proud.

It always gives me great pride to welcome new INSEAD MBA participants to our community. We draw outstanding people from around the world to create a unique international and diverse programme. Indeed, this diversity is a cornerstone of our intensive 10-month curriculum. Using diversity as a source of learning has allowed INSEAD to stand out as one of the top business schools in the world.

As a new MBA participant, you will have a unique opportunity to experience different cultures and study across three continents by taking advantage of the exchange between our two campuses in Singapore and Fontainebleau, as well as through our exchange partnerships with the Wharton School and Kellogg School of Management in the US.

It is an exciting time to be part of the INSEAD community. The first MBA class started in 1959 with 52 students representing 14 nationalities. Now, over 50 years later, we have 1024 participants representing 90 different nationalities from the July and December 2014 classes, and another 502 participants composed of 69 nationalities in the July 2015 classes. We have much to be proud of and a bright future ahead, and we are delighted to welcome you, the Class of July 2016, to this thriving community.

You have a promising time ahead: a transformational year full of intellectual challenges and stimulating exchanges with the most diverse community of any business school in the world and the opportunity to open new doors to professional successes. I, along with the team in the MBA department, very much look forward to accompanying you on this journey.
