Describe yourself in 15 words or less: Athletic, energetic, productive, woman in business

Fun fact about yourself: I make most of my products (cleaners, soaps, lotions, etc.) from scratch.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest accomplishment was transforming the JPMorgan Asset Management Asia Operating model to support $50 billion plus in assets under management across the region.

Looking back on your experience, what advice would you give to future business school applicants?  Don’t be afraid of rescheduling your GMAT test if you are not ready to take it. There is nothing worse than going through the test to find you are unhappy with your score and if you would have taken a little more time you would have been more prepared.

What led you to choose this program for your full-time MBA? Two key factors led me to choose Fisher. One was location, I am originally from Ohio but relocated to NYC for 4 years post undergrad. I was looking for a school in the Midwest that would allow me to more easily relocate to a culture that I love and network with companies here. The second was cost, while school is an investment in yourself it is important to consider the impact that investment can have on your life.

Tell us about your dream job or dream employer at this point in your life? Working for the YMCA is my dream employer. During college, I was camp counselor for the organization and I loved being a part of a nonprofit organization focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Working with the campers every day to instill the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility was really fulfilling to me.

What would you like your business school peers to say about you after you graduate from this program?  Averie is an asset to any situation and a pleasure to be around.
