How has the case method enriched your learning? The case method provides a strong basis for learning business theory through tangible examples rooted in real world business cases that illustrate the decisions firms have made and how those decisions have impacted their business.

Aside from classmates and cases, what part of the school’s MBA programming led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Ivey’s prestigious reputation was a key factor in choosing Ivey for my MBA as their reputation provided me with confidence knowing that I would be learning from some of the best and brightest.

What quality best describes your MBA classmates and why? Diverse. My classmates amaze me regularly with the range of experience and knowledge that they bring to the classroom daily. It’s a lot of fun learning and collaborating with my classmates.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Scaling and selling a startup.

What led you to pursue an MBA at this point in your career? As an engineer-turned-entrepreneur with the desire to continue building companies, I wanted an academic foundation in business to accompany my real-world experience as an entrepreneur to further my capabilities as a business leader.

What other MBA programs did you apply to? None.

What did you do during the application process that enabled you to get accepted into Ivey? Honestly, I was myself and stayed authentic which outlined my passion for business and desire to continue learning.
