2026-2027 MBA Admissions Events: A School-By-School List

The summer is here. That means admissions teams will be out in force. Picture your admissions reps chilling on the beach, sipping margaritas, and recharging for the fall?  Think again. In another week, they’ll be racing between flights and hotels, responding to emails and updating their CRM when everyone else is fast asleep.

It’s Sales 101: You don’t magically hit your quota in Q4. It’s all about the groundwork you lay and the relationships you build months – even years – before.

THE CARAVANS ARE COMING

This year, business schools are cooperating like never before. That starts with the Top Business Schools Present (TBSP) admissions tour. Here, the M7 schools – Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Northwestern, Chicago, MIT, and Columbia – are barnstorming the world together (alongside Dartmouth, Virginia, and UCLA). Lasting two hours, the TBSP tour is an in-person information session and networking fair rolled into one. Here, prospective students can pose questions to admissions panels before getting face time with school officers and alumni. In June, you’ll find the TBSP caravan rolling through London, Paris, and Milan, before veering off to the United States for dates in Philadelphia, Denver and Salt Lake City. Come July, the TBSP will brave the humidity in Dallas, Austin, and Houston before breezing into San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle.

The M7 aren’t the only schools banding together to hit the road this summer. On June 10-11, there is the MBA Spotlight Fair. The world’s largest virtual MBA admissions event, the fair brings together over 30 business schools for over 50 events. On June 3, the Hyatt Regency hosts MBA Connection: Seattle – an answer to TBSP that includes NYU Stern, Duke, Berkeley Haas, Yale, Michigan, Cornell, and Virginia. As always, the GMAC Tour serves up 27 dates stretching from Boston to Bangalore.

Traveling to talk to business schools can be expensive…not to mention time-consuming. That’s why MBA programs offer virtual alternatives beyond the usual campus tours. At Michigan Ross, the school offers “Office Hours” in areas like essay writing. Looking to broaden your mind? On May 29, Washington Olin is providing a “Working Lunch” covering best practices in wielding influence without authority. And UCLA can take applicants through a virtual tour of the Anderson School, detailing the unique features found on every floor of every building.

And if you’re wondering what classes will be like, Northwestern Kellogg will be holding faculty-led Masterclasses in locales like Boston and Washington, DC.
