Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of IIM Bangalore’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? IIM bangalore is one of the top-rated business schools in the world. Learning from the best professors in a beautifully designed campus in the Silicon Valley of India has given me a wholesome experience. Being associated with a big brand adds value to my personality and career.

What has been your favorite course or extracurricular activity at IIM Bangalore? What has been the most important lesson that you have learned from it? Brand Management by Prof YLR Moorthi has been my favourite course so far. The most memorable lesson I learnt from him is if a person isn’t able to convey an idea in a simple and crisp manner, he or she is clearly bluffing.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Being able to study in prestigious educational institutions all my life

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far: As an engineer, I have always been able to think from an analytical mindset. To be able to develop a holistic understanding of businesses is a skill that MBA has helped me accomplish.

What is your class’s favorite hangout away from school? Why do you gather there? High Tide, Bannerghatta Road. We associate this place with the mantra of ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’. We always hit this pub after our exams and party our guts out.

What led you to pursue an MBA at this point and what do you hope to do after graduation? I am pursuing an MBA to develop a holistic foundation in business disciplines, use my problem-solving and planning skills to understand the inner machinations of every stage of business. I hope to join a consulting firm that shapes strategies for organizations in the field of mobility and infrastructure.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into IIM Bangalore? As much as you prepare for the entrance exams such as GMAT/GRE, be sure to take up roles and responsibilities along your career that add value to your personality. Organisations and B schools are looking for well-rounded personalities who can think differently and perform efficiently.
