What has made it such a great place to earn an MBA? My favorite part of Atlanta is the emerging art scene. On any given day, you can find me admiring new murals or visiting the High Museum. Atlanta is a great place to earn your MBA because it has seen tremendous growth in recent years. Highly sought-after companies like Google, Microsoft, and Nike are building their headquarters right in our campus’s backyard. Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of the Scheller MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? I chose Georgia Tech Scheller’s MBA program because of its recent STEM designation. Coming here, I knew I would be challenged to integrate STEM principles into each subject. What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Georgia Tech? I have enjoyed networking with my peers. I think the Jones MBA career services team at Scheller does an excellent job of building community and ensuring that everyone in the program gets a chance to meet and connect with their peers. The connections I have built here are invaluable. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: I had the privilege to serve the Atlanta community as a COVID-19 ICU nurse during the pandemic (2020 -2022). It was an invaluable experience that I will never forget. Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far. Being selected as an MBA Impact Investing Network and Training (MIINT) participant has been my biggest accomplishment as a student so far. I truly believe in the value of social impact through investing, and I am excited to participate in this program. What has been your best memory as an MBA so far? It might sound cliché, but my best memory as an MBA so far was my official acceptance call. I was so excited to follow in my aunt’s footsteps and become a Yellow Jacket. What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into Georgia Tech Scheller’s MBA program? I would say just be yourself! Never underestimate how much all the hard work you have done to get to that point matters. Know that you are limitless and bound only by the constraint you set for yourself.
