Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Amazon Wall Of Fame: Post-undergrad, I began my professional career with Amazon as a transportation specialist. Approximately 18 months into my role as a Transportation Specialist came the biggest opportunity in my career at Amazon. During Prime 2021, an Amazon site witnessed its biggest jeopardy as it ran out of Amazon trailers to ship its inventory putting ~200K customer facing packages at risk. While Amazon thrives on its customer obsession, I swiftly analyzed and reacted to the problem by strategizing to support the site with Amazon trailers around the whole region for a long term solve and optimizing stationed third-party trailers for a short term solve. The strategy resulted fruitfully, and the site was out of jeopardy in 4 hours and the inventory was shipped out of the site on time keeping customer promise. Owing to the ownership and bias for action for this task, I was honored as the sole Transportation Specialist to be entitled on the Amazon Prime Wall of Fame 2021 and the Star Performer of Prime 2021. What do you hope to do after graduation? Post-graduation, I will continue to explore the operations and supply chain industry to the best of my abilities to understand every minor aspect of the industries and how do they work. Taking these learnings forward I aspire to establish a firm in the supply chain industry in the electronic vehicle space which would contribute to the betterment of the community.
