What has been your favorite part of Nashville so far? Why? Exploring culinary delights is a hobby of mine, and Nashville’s diverse food scene has quickly become my favorite aspect of the city. It includes a diverse range of international cuisines. From street food (food trucks) to trendy eateries, there’s a constant opportunity to try something new. The food culture caters to various tastes and preferences.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Vanderbilt Owen’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? I chose Vanderbilt because of the modular system that enables me to tailor my curriculum to my needs, the intimate class sizes fostering a close-knit community, and its prime location in Nashville, a healthcare hub offering firsthand exposure to the healthcare system.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Vanderbilt Owen? One of the activities I particularly relish is the Thursday evening Closing Bell. It’s a gathering where the Owen community gathers for drinks, meals, and entertainment. This provides us, as a collective, with an opportunity to unwind from the week’s activities, savor each other’s company, and delve deeper into personal connections beyond the classroom, encompassing both students and faculty members.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My time at Pharmasymbiosis Limited was very exciting. I engaged with various pharmaceutical brands. One major accomplishment happened when my team and I created patient access to plasma therapeutics across five major hospitals within the southern region of Nigeria. This initiative significantly enhanced the quality of life for numerous patients.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far? My most significant achievement as an MBA student is earning the opportunity to partake in Project Pyramid, an experiential learning course focused on global consulting for social enterprises. In this program, students acquire and employ consulting and leadership skills in both classroom settings and real-world scenarios.

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far? The most cherished memory thus far is the “jollof rice” party I co-hosted, providing a delightful time with friends, that brought us together sharing experiences and diverse cultures.
