What has been the biggest accomplishment in your career so far?

Successfully introducing 8 Chinese companies to set up their new factories in South Asia and getting them up and running in a short period of time before Covid, saving millions of dollars in customs duty annually for the company I was working for.

When you think of CEIBS, what is the first word that comes to mind?

Ambitious. Students come to CEIBS from different backgrounds looking for further progress in their career development. The faculty and staff have done a good job in developing the teaching courses and providing career guidance to help MBA students achieve their dream.

What are one or two key aspects of this program that led you to choose CEIBS, and why were they so important to you?

  1. Students from other countries bring critical diversity to the MBA batch, providing me with multicultural perspectives that make me truly think as a global leader.
  2. Alumni network. CEIBS’ extensive alumni network provides numerous opportunities to attend lectures and conferences on new industries, technologies, skills, and more. By talking with CEIBS alumni, I will benefit from their experience and have a better understanding of my future career path.

What course, club, activity, or experience at CEIBS excites you the most and why?

Course: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. By learning these two courses, I learned about the underlying logic of how the economy works and understood the inner connection between an ongoing social event and an early policy set by the government.

Club: Must be SME Club (Sports, Media & Entertainment). As the vice president of the club, I organized several sports activities for our colleagues to encourage them to experience the charm of sports. After being fully immersed in the exciting activities of our club, many colleagues have become more proactive in enjoying the enthusiasm of sports exercises, which is a good signal for the sustainability of their careers.

Activity: The New Year Gala is the most impressive student activity in my mind. Great performances given by our colleagues amazed me a lot. CEIBS M25 Band’s amazing performance made the crowd go crazy. It was a wonderful night.

What is one thing you have recently read, watched, or listened to that you would highly recommend to other prospective CEIBS MBAs?

I recommend a Youtube video channel called ‘Money Boom’. This channel basically posts a lot of videos that introduce and analyze the current situation or trend of the global economy. By subscribing to this channel, it has brought me a lot of new ideas and knowledge in understanding the business world.

What are two things you have learned being at CEIBS that have surprised you so far – one academic and one non-academic?

Academic: I would highlight the simulations as an exceptionally engaging aspect of the CEIBS MBA program. They were not only innovative but also significantly enhanced our comprehension of the material presented.

Non-academic: At CEIBS, your peers are so competitive, which can motivate you to reach your full potential.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into CEIBS MBA program?

Please think about what job/industry you are most attracted to. How will the CEIBS MBA program help you achieve this? If you have a clear answer to this question, tell it to the admissions officer.
