Like the percentage of students directly involved with a startup, we also asked for the percentage of faculty directly involved with a startup in some capacity during the 2023-2024 academic year.

Three schools reported that 100% of their faculty worked with a startup: University of Michigan (Ross), University of Texas at Austin (McCombs), and Georgetown University (McDonough).

RATIO OF FUNDING AVAILABLE TO MBAS (2.5%)

Some schools have special funding available to MBAs for things like working on a startup or at an early-stage startup during the summer. We asked schools to report the total amount of entrepreneurship-focused funding available to MBAs from the business school during the 2023-2024 academic year and then calculated a ratio based on the total number of ‘24 MBA students.
