Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of the Mays MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The small cohort size and the enormous Aggie network. A small cohort invariably leads to a more personalized approach to ‘teaching’ and other support that students may require. Further in the journey, I will have a ready-made network of almost 300,000 Aggies who have graduated within this century, which shall hold me in good stead anywhere in the world.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Texas A&M Mays? The Business Analytics course with Dr. Bala Shetty. It gives a comprehensive introduction to the quantitative side of a business management degree and has been our most hands-on course so far. It covers tools that will be required by all MBAs, irrespective of field or domain. And, as his experience speaks for itself, Dr. Shetty is a rockstar professor.

Looking at your recruitment, what was the moment when you realized that Mays was the right graduate program for you? Why? There were two. First, Mays was the only school I applied to with a required essay about human values and principles. They wanted to know more about me, the person, than me, just the applicant. Second was Dr. Katie Stober, the Associate Director of MBA Admissions at Mays. Every interaction with her had clear communication, prompt responses, and unambiguous details.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far. As a quizzer and huge fan of trivia-based TV shows since childhood, it was when I got the chance to join, and later head, the content research team for the Indian version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire – Kaun Banega Crorepati.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? Why? I come from a set of professional experiences vastly different from most of my classmates – including but not limited to multiple industries, unconventional roles, extensive freelancing, and early-stage startup experience. This diverse set of skills and experiences will give me different perspectives on problem-solving, which will hopefully help create a more holistic approach in group settings and general class discussions.

Looking ahead two years, what would make your MBA experience successful? Two words that I resonate with the most are value and impact. At the end of the program, I hope to have taken enough professional and personal value from the program to facilitate a net positive impact for myself, my surroundings, and the people around me. Should I be able to do that, I would consider this a successful stint.
