Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of the Mays MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? I was particularly attracted to Mays Business School’s small cohort size, which allowed for personalized attention from faculty, program staff, and career management. This supportive environment was crucial for my development because the focused support from professors helped me grasp key concepts quickly. At the same time, the career management team provided invaluable assistance with my application materials and job search strategy, ensuring I was well-prepared for the job season.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Texas A&M Mays? The Business Analytics course, taught by esteemed professor Dr. Bala Shetty, excites me because it covers frameworks and tools essential for making key decisions during uncertainty and optimizing them to improve future decision-making.

Looking at your recruitment, what was the moment when you realized that Mays was the right graduate program for you? Why? During my research process, I had a conversation with Dr. Katie Stober, Associate Director of the Graduate Programs Office, where she provided an in-depth overview of the Mays Full-Time MBA program. She highlighted the numerous opportunities students have to connect with recruiters and industry professionals through various events, including luncheons and happy hours, showcasing the power of the Aggie network. This factor sealed the deal for me, as it presented a unique chance to brand myself as an international student in this new job market and achieve my professional goal of working for my target employers in my desired job function.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: Launching a revolutionary CRM application for the insurance underwriting market, which streamlined and accelerated decision-making processes for underwriters. My efforts were recognized when I received the “PwC COI Industry Champion” Award, becoming the youngest awardee among over 2,000 participants for my contributions to the insurance industry.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? Why? My diverse professional experience across various industries such as technology consulting and product management. I have led diverse teams and navigated complex challenges, which strengthened my leadership skills and strategic thinking. My global perspective, gained from working with international teams, will enrich class discussions and group projects with a broader viewpoint.

Looking ahead two years, what would make your MBA experience successful?  My MBA experience would be successful by fully utilizing the vast Texas A&M Aggie network to build meaningful and long-lasting relationships with professors and alumni. Leveraging their industry experience will be crucial in achieving my post-MBA goal of becoming a product manager and climbing the corporate ladder to stand out as a great business leader.
