UCLA Anderson is founded on the Three Pillars: Share Success, Think Fearlessly, and Drive Change. Which pillar resonates most with you and why? Share Success – As a female founder, I’m hoping to be a resource to aspiring female founders at Anderson and share all my learning and failures with them. I plan to leverage my deep understanding of fundraising, operations, community building, and strategic growth to my peers and close the fundraising gap for females and underrepresented communities. I believe a rising tide lifts all ships and I’m hoping to leave Anderson with a strong cohort of entrepreneurs that I can rely on and support years after graduation.

What makes Los Angeles such a great place to earn an MBA? Los Angeles has it all! As a student, you have every industry at your fingertips in LA: entertainment, sports, CPG, real estate, banking, and more!

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of UCLA Anderson’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The Venture Accelerator and Price Center for Entrepreneurship were key assets for me when choosing the right MBA program. As an entrepreneur that is also trying to break into venture capital, both programs not only help accelerate and scale businesses with the right resources, but they also provide local networking opportunities with a ton of LA early-stage capital funds.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at UCLA Anderson? I am most excited to build out my company, Sake High!, with a student led team with my peers in the Business Creation Capstone (BCC) program. I am excited to take advantage and learn from my peers that have different industry acumen than me like supply chain, social media, and finance.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? My biggest contribution to the Class of 2026 will be to tap into my strong LA network across multiple industries including sports, CPG, hospitality, and venture capital. I am a natural connector who is inspired by other trailblazers. I hope my peers and I push each other to our fullest potential.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest accomplishment so far was launching my company Sake High!. As a female founder with no background in alcohol and CPG, it took a ton of mistakes and self-motivation to overcome a lot of barriers and obstacles to launch. In just three years, I led product creation, sales, business development, forecasting, and go-to-market strategy that led Sake High! to launch in five states with nationwide shipping.

What do you hope to do after graduation (at this point)? I hope to scale my business, Sake High!, nationwide after graduation while building a career and reputation in venture capital focused on consumer goods. Ultimately, I hope to be a mentor and investor in female entrepreneurship and better-for-you CPG.
