Michigan Ross is best known for experiential learning programming like MAP, Living Business Leadership Experience, and the Leadership Crisis Challenge. What experiential program interests you the most? MAP – that I can work on a project with classmates I know well, leveraging our strengths and weaknesses in our own way and tackle real-world problems as part of the class.

Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of Michigan Ross’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? Tauber Institute – a unique opportunity to collaborate with engineering students. It enriches our thinking, fosters creative results, and will increasingly become crucial for future leaders as synergy arises from diverse perspectives.

What course, club, or activity excites you the most at Michigan Ross? Football games – When I decided to come to Ross, one thing I resolved was never to say no to new activities unless I know I really dislike them. I don’t know much about football games. Since it’s a rare opportunity to experience such a popular event, I’m looking forward to Michigan winning the championship this year too.

Looking at your recruitment, what was the moment when you realized that the Ross School was the right MBA program for you? Why? During the interview, I wouldn’t say that it was my best, but it was definitely the one where I felt most like myself. As a triple major in university and a data scientist working with data across diverse industries, I truly value multidisciplinary and action-based learning. That’s the exact spirit of Ross!

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2026? Why? Throughout my university years and career, I’ve worked with people from diverse backgrounds. This experience will be invaluable in collaborating with great fellow students here and contributing to a more welcoming community.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest accomplishment was developing an automated classification model for the voice of customers. Despite the challenges of handling enormous, multi-labeled, and multi-language data, we successfully implemented NLP-based digital transformation using machine learning. This led to a 25% improvement in operational efficiency by automating manual and repetitive tasks. Additionally, I was honored with an award from my company for this project.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into Michigan Ross’s MBA program?  When I first decided to apply for an MBA, I was confused and frustrated about how to define myself, my choices throughout my life, and my career. Even though I successfully landed at Ross, I still find it challenging to explain myself to others. However, I think being genuine is the best way to gain admission from Ross. Even if it doesn’t seem impressive for the essays, sharing the story that truly matters to you is important.
