What excites you most about studying in Washington, DC? DC is where power meets purpose. The energy here mirrors my own: ambitious, mission-driven, and built to create lasting impact. I’m excited to study in a city where global policy, finance, and innovation intersect. This incredible city offers unmatched access to thought leaders, dealmakers, and changemakers.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Georgetown McDonough’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? I chose Georgetown for its Global Business Experience (GBE). As someone who’s lived on three continents and visited 20+ countries, I value cross-cultural collaboration deeply. The GBE offers a rare opportunity to consult internationally, applying classroom learning to real-world challenges. It’s experiential, global, and purpose-driven—exactly the kind of leadership development I was seeking.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at Georgetown McDonough? The clubs I’m most excited about are the Georgetown Africa Business Alliance, Finance Club, Georgetown Women in Business, and Run Club as they represent the full spectrum of who I am.

GABA aligns with me culturally and the Finance Club aligns with my professional goals (especially with regards to investment banking). It offers technical prep and industry exposure. GWIB speaks to my passion for empowering women in business and building community through mentorship. And the Georgetown Run Club is a perfect personal outlet that keeps me grounded and energized—because some of the best thinking happens on a long run.

Georgetown McDonough programming focuses heavily on instilling a global mindset. Why is exposure to global diversity so critical to business success? As the Assistant Vice President of Global Liquidity Management at Citi, I’ve seen firsthand how global diversity directly impacts business sustainability and success. Working across regions and time zones, I’ve collaborated with colleagues from Asia, Europe, and Latin America to manage billions in liquidity. Each market presents unique regulatory and cultural nuances, and it’s the diversity of perspectives—both in background and thought—that enables us to make more strategic, risk-aware decisions. I want to continue growing as a global thought leader who can navigate complexity, lead with cultural intelligence, and help businesses thrive across borders.

When you think of Georgetown University, what word comes to mind? Why? When I think of Georgetown, the word that comes to mind is “intentional.”

From its values-driven leadership approach to its commitment to developing global changemakers, Georgetown cultivates a community that’s purposefully built to make a difference. It’s more than just collaboration—it’s about working together with integrity, empathy, and impact to change the world.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My biggest accomplishment was relocating to New York City during the height of the pandemic to take on a promotion at one of the world’s largest and most prestigious investment banks (Citi). Amid remote onboarding and market uncertainty, I quickly established myself on Citi’s Global Liquidity Management team. I led a large-scale transformation project that streamlined our liquidity analysis systems, enhancing efficiency and ensuring compliance well above Federal Reserve standards. The experience tested my resilience, sharpened my leadership, and deepened my ability to drive results in high-pressure, global environments.

What is your long-term career goal? My long-term goal is to become a senior leader in investment banking, specializing in natural resources across the EMEA region. I aim to advise on transformative deals that shape global markets while championing inclusive leadership in the industry. Outside of work, I’m committed to giving back—whether through mentorship within the Georgetown community or service to underserved populations around the world.
