Aside from your classmates, what was the key part of MIT Sloan’s MBA programming that led you to choose this Business School and why was it so important to you? What truly sold me on MIT Sloan was the Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) program. The dual-degree structure combines business and engineering, perfectly aligning with both my background and aspirations. I believe the world’s toughest challenges can only be solved by integrating scientific and engineering excellence with business acumen. LGO’s focus on manufacturing and scalable impact makes it the ideal platform to drive meaningful change.

Action Learning Labs are one of MIT Sloan’s biggest attractions. Which lab interests you the most? How does it fit with your interests? When I think about MIT Sloan’s Action Labs, I can only dream! There are so many compelling options that choosing just one feels impossible. That said, a few stand out:

  • 784 Operations Lab: At heart, I’m still an operations guy. I thrive on complex projects involving supply chains, manufacturing, and optimization. I’m especially excited for those that have a large-scale impact through things such as consumer products.
  • S04 Generative AI Lab: MIT is leading the way in integrating gen AI with science and management. This lab offers a unique opportunity to help companies adopt these technologies in practical, transformative ways. I want to be part of and influence that change.
  • 389 Global Entrepreneurship Lab & 15.399 Entrepreneurship Lab: I aspire to launch my own company someday. These labs offer hands-on experience with entrepreneurship that creates positive changes in people’s lives. This aligns with my personal goal of striving to make peoples’ lives better in every sense possible.

When you think of MIT, what are the first things that come to mind? How have your experiences with the Sloan program thus far reinforced or upended these early impressions? MIT is synonymous with rigor, innovation, and intellectual intensity. My LGO summer experience was phenomenal: my cohort was inspiring, and I genuinely loved every moment. Every member of the MIT community—students, faculty, and staff—is extraordinary: brilliant, welcoming, and deeply committed to building something special together. It’s the people who make MIT truly exceptional.

What excites you about earning an MBA in the Boston area? Boston is a dream for students. It’s vibrant, youthful, and packed with social and cultural activities year-round. As a foodie, I also love the diverse culinary scene, and the city’s blend of tradition and modernity makes it feel both rich and accessible. For nature lovers like me, it’s perfectly located: whether it’s hiking Mount Washington, swimming on Cape Cod, or skiing at Cannon or Sugarloaf resorts, adventure is always a few hours’ car ride away. Professionally, Boston’s biotech and pharma ecosystem is world class, offering unparalleled networking and career opportunities that perfectly align with my professional aspirations.

What is your unique quality that will enable you to make a big contribution to the Class of 2027?I believe in the power of enthusiasm. I bring passion to everything I do—whether it’s trying new ideas, innovating better processes, or encouraging others to explore different perspectives. Enthusiasm is contagious, and when infused into a community, it drives us all to achieve more, go further, and do better.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: My greatest accomplishment isn’t a project or a title—it’s the people I’ve helped grow. I believe our true impact is measured by how we empower others to be better, think differently, and embrace new possibilities. Leading and influencing others to reach their potential is the most meaningful achievement of my career, especially when it comes to innovating and being more open to new perspectives and ways of doing things.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into MIT Sloan’s MBA program? Set a goal, and then post-mortem with positivity. One of my MIT professors during LGO summer taught me this: after completing a task, think of the best person you know at that skill. Then go one standard deviation further. Write down how you can improve your process to reach that level. Repeat. Small, consistent improvements compound into excellence. That mindset will serve you well, not just in applying to Sloan, but in everything you do.
