What has been your favorite part of Toronto so far?

I’ve lived here over 10 years, and the food scene never disappoints. The variety and quality are unmatched, and there always new restaurants to try.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Toronto Rotman’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you?

The on-campus recruiting opportunities are very strong for many career paths, especially for consulting.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Toronto Rotman?

I’ve really enjoyed working with and learning from the Management Consulting Association (MCA). The executive team has been so supportive throughout my recruitment journey.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far:

Receiving 4 promotions in 3 years in an industry completely different from what I studied.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far:

Receiving an internship offer to my dream company (Bain)

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far?

Spending late nights studying and casing with my classmates, then going out to celebrate.

Personal and professional development is one of the cornerstones of the Rotman MBA experience. What have you learned about yourself so far and what do you hope to achieve?

I’ve learned that I do my best work when I’m uncomfortable, held to high standards, and learning alongside others. Rotman has shown me how much more effective learning becomes when people bring different strengths, perspectives, and ways of thinking (especially during those late study room sessions). Next year, I hope to take on a leadership role in the MCA and pass on the lessons that helped me grow.
