What has been your favorite part of Toronto so far?

It’s a diverse city with amazing food from all over the world.

Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Toronto Rotman’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you?

What drew me to Rotman most was its global alumni network and international reputation. I wanted a school that would open doors not just in Toronto or Canada, but around the world. Knowing that Rotman is respected globally gave me confidence that the relationships and training I built here would continue to create opportunities long after graduation.

What course, club or activity have you enjoyed the most so far at Toronto Rotman?

Club: REVCA and MCA. Beyond the strong network they offer, what I value most is the diversity of perspectives they bring together. Learning alongside classmates with different backgrounds, industries, and ways of thinking has challenged how I approach problems and helped me see business questions from angles I wouldn’t have considered before.

Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far:

I started a business from scratch.

Describe your biggest accomplishment as an MBA student so far:

One of my biggest accomplishments so far has been building meaningful connections with classmates from different backgrounds and industries. Through these conversations and collaborations, I’ve been able to exchange ideas, discover opportunities I hadn’t seen before, and form friendships that go far beyond the classroom. Those relationships have not only expanded how I think, but also made my time at Rotman deeply rewarding.

What has been your best memory as an MBA so far?

One of my favorite memories at Rotman was when our entire class went out together for a chicken-and-drinks night after the first term. We sang, danced, and celebrated finishing the term, and it was a reminder of how close our community is. Moments like that, outside the classroom, are where you really feel the spirit of Rotman and the friendships that make this experience special.

Personal and professional development is one of the cornerstones of the Rotman MBA experience. What have you learned about yourself so far and what do you hope to achieve?

I’m interested in a career where analytical work intersects with client-facing problem solving. I wanted to deepen my business knowledge and build a stronger strategy toolkit, while also using Rotman as a platform to connect with people across industries. Being able to learn, apply, and build relationships at the same time is what makes this experience especially meaningful to me.
