The energy of Washington, DC – the think tanks, global firms, and innovation hubs sparks my entrepreneurial mindset. Aside from your classmates and location, what was the key part of Georgetown McDonough’s MBA programming that led you to choose this business school and why was it so important to you? The Global Business Experience stood out to me as a transformative opportunity. Solving real client challenges across diverse international markets is powerful preparation for a career in consulting. I am excited to work with global companies, tackle live business problems, and strengthen my strategic problem-solving skills in cross-cultural environments. What course, club or activity excites you the most at Georgetown McDonough? I’m excited to engage with the Entrepreneurship Club to explore scaling strategies, exchange ideas with like-minded peers, and learn from founders who have grown ventures across borders. The club’s workshops, pitch events, and access to seasoned mentors will help me sharpen my entrepreneurial mindset. Georgetown McDonough programming focuses heavily on instilling a global mindset. Why is exposure to global diversity so critical to business success? Exposure to global diversity is critical to business success because it expands your ability to understand, innovate, and lead across cultural and operational differences. While building and scaling my company, I worked with international clients like Volvo, Walmart, Flipkart, Zomato, Bosch, Yokohama Tires, and Safran Aircraft. Each organization had distinct expectations, procurement standards, and communication styles, which taught me to adapt our approach for different markets. This helped us secure long-term partnerships and shaped the way we designed solutions that met diverse client needs. One key example was during the expansion of our roof-mounted HVLS (High-Volume Low Speed) fan line. After conducting a nine-month market research initiative, we identified unconventional applications across sectors like schools, restaurants, and religious spaces. This insight came in part from learning how global clients were using similar technology in unexpected ways. Understanding these diverse use cases led to a broader installation base of 1500+ units within two years (3000+ fans at present). Exposure to global perspectives challenged me to think beyond traditional markets and shaped a more inclusive, scalable business strategy. When you think of Georgetown University, what word comes to mind? Why? Global – its international mindset and global exposure prepare students for boundary-less leadership. Describe your biggest accomplishment in your career so far: At Marley, I drove revenue growth from $350k USD in 2022 to $700k USD in 2023, with a 100% YoY growth trajectory, and revenue reached $1.15M USD in 2024 and is expected to reach $2.3M USD by 2025. At Ingersoll Rand, I led aftermarket B2B Sales for South India’s compressor division and achieved $450k USD in one year. What is your long-term career goal? My long-term goal is to scale my startup into international markets. To do that successfully, I need a strong understanding of global business strategy and how companies navigate growth across different regions. In the short term, I aim to work in consulting to build those skills and gain exposure to a wide range of industries and markets. The Global Business Experience at Georgetown will give me the opportunity to work with real clients in diverse international settings, helping me apply classroom knowledge to real-world business problems. This hands-on exposure will be key in developing the global mindset I need to take my venture to the next level. I believe entrepreneurship and consulting are closely connected, and I plan to use the strengths of both to build something impactful on a global scale.
