Pamela is without a doubt the best decision I made throughout the entire MBA application process. Going into it, I knew I had gaps. My test score and length of work experience were not where I wanted them to be. What Pamela did was identify what truly made me stand out and bring out the very best of my background.
She brought life into my work experience and crafted it in the best way possible. She asked the right questions, pushed back when something wasn’t landing, and never let me settle for good enough.
Pamela gave me the ambition to shoot for my dream school and the confidence to go for it. I was accepted to both Duke Fuqua and CBS, and I could not have gotten there without her.
What set her apart more than anything was her honesty. No sugar coating, no beating around the bush, just direct, thoughtful guidance at every step. Her attention to detail was exceptional, her flexibility was unmatched, and there were times I was working against an extremely tight timeline that she made possible.
I cannot recommend her enough. Put in the work, trust Pamela, and the results will follow. You will not regret it for a single second. I am happy to say I will be attending Columbia Business School this fall. Thank you again Pamela!
I came into this process with serious doubt about whether I would get into any MBA program. After reading countless posts on social media, Reddit, and other forums, I was incredibly discouraged.
I decided to reach out to a consultant anyway. For background, I went to an engineering school, ended up with a low 3.0 GPA, and pivoted into government consulting at a small firm. I knew I was not the typical MBA profile, so I went into several consultant calls expecting to be discouraged from applying. All of them did just that. Laura was different. She provided warmth and encouragement and pushed me to persevere through the process.
We talked through which schools I should target and how best to showcase my experience. Her feedback during the essay process was critical and constructive, always offering a specific suggestion on how to meet the prompt and tell my story. By the end, I was using the lens of “what would Laura say” every time I revised a draft. When we got to the interviews, she pushed me to make sure I was genuinely excited about each program and ran a mock session to prepare me for every school I interviewed at.
In the end, I got into more programs than I expected (I expected 0) and got meaningful scholarships at many of them!
If you have doubts about the process, have no idea how to navigate it, think that you aren’t the typical candidate, or are worried about how the committees will read you, Laura is your person. Using her services during this process is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I came into the MBA process with a pretty average profile on paper, middle-of-the-road GPA and test scores, and no clear throughline to my post-MBA goals.
Laura really helped me sharpen my narrative and clarify what I actually wanted to do. That meant moving away from generic statements and focusing on specific goals, decisions, and experiences that supported them. She also made sure everything tied together across my essays, resume, and interview prep so it felt cohesive instead of a bunch of disconnected points.
Laura was always willing to hop on a call or answer a last-minute question, which made a big difference during the more stressful parts of the process. Her feedback was thoughtful and direct, and helped me maintain and clarify my own voice throughout the process.
Because of her guidance, my applications felt much more intentional and differentiated, even without standout stats. I ended up getting into both Booth and Kellogg (my top choices!!!)
I reached out to Pamela with less than a month before several of my application deadlines, feeling that my materials weren’t strong enough to submit as is. Despite the tight timeline and unconventional approach, she immediately stepped in and was fully committed from day one.
Pamela took the time to deeply understand my background, experiences, and goals and helped me craft a clear, compelling narrative tailored to each school. Not only did this help me throughout the application process, but it also gave me clarity into my short-term and long-term goals.
She was extremely accessible and thoughtful in her feedback. Her honesty helped me take my essays to the next level. Pamela has a ton of experience and that is evident through how much she not only knows about the MBA application process in general, but her understanding of what each school is looking for.
Most importantly, Pamela helped me authentically package myself and present my story in an impactful way. With her guidance, I was admitted to my top choice school, Columbia Business School. I would highly recommend her to anyone applying to top MBA programs who is looking for a dedicated and results-driven collaborator.
I highly recommend working with Pamela! She was instrumental at every stage of the process, from helping me build a thoughtful school list aligned with my career goals to guiding me through countless revisions of my essays. Test scores were the weakest part of my application, but she helped me strategically highlight my strengths and present a well-rounded, compelling story.
Throughout the process, I felt fully supported. Pamela consistently pushed me to produce the strongest possible version of every essay and short answer while ensuring I stayed true to my goals. Her insight into what admissions committees look for was invaluable. Looking back, I genuinely don’t think I would have achieved the same results without her guidance. I’m thrilled to have received three acceptances, along with a waitlist at an M7 school, and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone considering a consultant!
When I first started thinking about applying to MBA programs, I found myself overwhelmed with the process and simply unsure how to put my best foot forward. Working with Pamela helped me tie my story together and overcome some real fears I had with my profile (lower GPA, slightly atypical story), and get into many of my top choice schools. The amount of experience she brings, the insight into what AdCom is thinking, the ability to keep you focused on what really matters – are all things I would never have been able to do on my own. I highly recommend Pamela to anyone who is thinking about hiring a consultant.
Pamela is incredible. I was a non-traditional candidate and I had no clue of what I didn’t know about MBA admissions. Reflecting back on it now, I don’t think I would have gotten into an MBA program at all without Pamela. But with her help I was able to get into my target M7 school.
Pamela was extremely thorough, with a systematic approach to building a cohesive application that highlighted the good aspects of my background, as well as addressing the weaker aspects in a meaningful way.
She is honest, and she does not mince words. Some of her advice may not be what you want to hear, but she knows what these schools are looking for and she knows what makes a great application. Her singular goal is getting you into your target school and she will tell you what you NEED to hear to achieve that. That’s exactly the kind of person who you want in your corner when you are trying to get into the most competitive programs in the world. Building a great application is not easy, but Pamela is there every step of the way. She went above and beyond for me, working over vacations, holidays, and weekends reviewing essays and resumes, answering questions, and helping with interview prep.
The very best advice I can offer to any prospective applicant is this: if you want to get into a top MBA program, hire Pamela. Period.
Working with Pamela was one of the best decisions I made during the MBA application process. Applying to business school is intense, and I quickly realized that strong experience alone is not enough. I needed someone who could help me identify the most compelling parts of my story and shape them into a clear, cohesive narrative. That is exactly what Pamela did.
What stood out immediately was Pamela’s honesty. She did not simply tell me what I wanted to hear; she told me what I needed to hear. If an essay felt generic, she said so. If a story was not landing, she pushed me to go deeper. If something was repetitive or unclear, she made me sharpen it. Her feedback was always direct, thoughtful, and grounded in a real understanding of what admissions committees look for.
Pamela also brought an incredible level of structure to a process that can easily become overwhelming. Between essays, resumes, recommendations, and interview preparation, the application journey can quickly turn chaotic. Pamela created a clear plan, kept me focused on priorities, and helped make the entire process feel manageable.
Most importantly, Pamela helped me present my story in a way that felt authentic. She took the time to understand my background, experiences, goals, and motivations, and because of that, my applications felt like a stronger and more thoughtful version of me rather than something overly packaged or artificial.
The results were very strong, but beyond the outcomes, what I appreciated most was having a trusted partner throughout such a high-stakes process. Pamela combined candor with support, and that made an enormous difference.
I would recommend Pamela without hesitation to anyone applying to business school. She is strategic, insightful, honest, and exceptionally good at helping applicants put forward the strongest possible version of themselves.
Pamela is an incredible consultant to work with. I was applying from a non-traditional background, and she helped me identify key strengths in my experience that would translate to success in the MBA program and in my short-term goal. Her essay edits were all very intentional and driven by deep expertise in what schools are really looking for. Overall, it was a great experience, and I ended up getting accepted into all 4 schools!
I worked with Pamela as my consultant for the Executive MBA application and with her help I got admitted to the eMBA program of my interest from the first attempt. Pamela is very organized and knowledgeable and she helped me step by step through the whole process. She always explained clearly what needs to be done and when, what to pay attention to, which made everything much easier. What I really appreciated is that she is very candid and honest with her feedback. She took into account all specifics of my background and my availability, and adjusted her advice to what was realistic for me. Overall, I felt supported and confident during the entire application process. This was one of the best experiences I had working with consultants.
Working with Pamela was one of the most valuable decisions I made during my MBA application process. She has a deep understanding of how different schools evaluate candidates across essays, recommendation letters, and interviews.
For essays, she helped me think more carefully about structure and how my goals and story would be interpreted by an admissions reader. She was also very effective at helping me clearly connect my background to my short- and long-term goals. The most helpful part of her guidance was pushing me to clarify complex ideas and a niche goal that might not have been obvious to someone reading my application for the first time. Her edits were thoughtful and often pushed me to dig deeper into certain ideas, resulting in essays that felt more complete and holistic.
She was also very effective in interview preparation. Her guidance helped me feel well-prepared going into interviews, and the questions I encountered closely aligned with what we had practiced.
Her guidance ultimately helped me gain admission to multiple programs, including an M7 school!
Laura was instrumental in helping me get accepted into my dream MBA program. From the beginning of our relationship she was extremely supportive, personal, caring, calm, and gave me every ounce of confidence that I needed throughout the process.
Her knowledge was key in her help, but what what stood out the most was how she brought out the best version of me and pulls out my unique story to the forefront of the application. That alone makes it worth every penny, to have someone understand you and understand how to best out ‘you’ on an application was by far the best quality I can say about Laura. She was authentic, real, and really understood me.
Her help in every aspect was crucial and made me feel like I had a great resource to lean on. She challenged me, helped connect my experiences together, she was truthful and honest in her feedback, and she was strategic with her planning and kept me on task. If I could go back and work with Laura again, I would 100% without question.
I am deeply grateful for her guidance and a stated, would recommend her wholeheartedly and without hesitation. Anyone wanting to go to a top program needs to talk to her without question. You will gain confidence, experience, be challenged, and have the support you need to put your best self on that application. Thank you, Laura!
I worked with Pamela over several months during my MBA application process, and her guidance was invaluable. While I formally worked with her on only one application, her impact extended far beyond a single school. Even though I did not ultimately gain admission to the school we worked on together, the work we did refining my goals, strengthening my essays, and clearly articulating my “why MBA” directly shaped every other application I submitted, which ultimately led to my admission to Wharton and a full-tuition scholarship at CBS!!!
When we started working together, my goals were all over the place, and Pamela quickly helped me identify what would and would not work. Through thoughtful questioning, honest feedback, and deep knowledge of each school, she helped me dig into my story and craft a clear, authentic narrative. Her edits consistently elevated my essays while preserving my voice, and her school-specific insight and interview prep gave me confidence throughout the process.
By the time I submitted my applications, I felt proud of what I had put forward. I would highly recommend Pamela to anyone looking for a strategic, deeply knowledgeable consultant who is genuinely invested in your growth, not just the final admission result!
Pamela was great. Last cycle I applied to 4 schools and went 0/4. I reapplied with her help this year and got into 3 M7 programs, including one I was rejected from last year. She was incredibly helpful and provided detailed, holistic, and thoughtful feedback throughout the process, from crafting my initial story to providing many rounds of line by line feedback on essays to interview prep. Couldn’t recommend her more – she was great to work with and got me where I needed to be.
Stanford has always been a dream school of mine. When starting my business school application process, I knew I wanted to apply to the GSB to “shoot my shot” but never thought in a million years I’d actually get in. Thanks to Pamela, I got into Stanford and get to attend the business school of my absolute dreams. I can’t imagine going through this business school process without her guidance. She does a phenomenal job of really getting to know her clients and adding structure to a very complicated, rigorous, and intricate process. I came in without a clear “story” and she worked with me to dig into my professional and personal passions to craft an amazing narrative that truly felt authentic to who I am and my career goals. She pushed and challenged my application, across all key components, to be the best they could be. Not only did she help me get into Stanford, she also helped me get into other top programs like Kellogg, Darden, and CBS!!!!! CHOOSE PAMELA!!!!
I truly believe I would not have gotten into CBS if it weren’t for Pamela. As a non-trad candidate (like, “never had a resume” non-trad) with less than average grades/scores, I was incredibly nervous about applying to B-school, completely unfamiliar with the landscape and not confident about the process whatsoever. And I’m not gonna lie, the process is incredibly overwhelming. But Pamela broke things down in an incredibly structured way that was easy to digest. She helped me get to the point where I understood what I was looking for and how to article my story in an effective manner. She’s incredibly honest–we went over every detail of my strengths and weaknesses, and how to address them. Because of this, I felt incredibly confident submitting my application.
If you’re looking for a differentiator, I’ll leave you with this: the biggest thing that stood out to me was when I was about to give up on my apps (life kept throwing me curveballs–bad ones), Pamela helped me get across the finish line. She did not give up on me; we came up with a modified plan, grinded it out, and I cannot thank her enough for that. She is who you want next to you when things get tough.
If this resonates with you–work with Pamela, you won’t regret it.
I almost didn’t apply to my dream school. I reached out to Laura after discovering that not only is she a seasoned product marketing executive, but also an incredible MBA and career coach. I thank GOD our paths crossed.
By the time I found her, I had already written all of my essays, but something told me I needed her eyes on them. And wow… I’m so glad I listened to that nudge.
Laura’s feedback was crystal clear, deeply tactical, and full of wisdom, care, and experience. Sometimes coaching can feel light on value, but not with Laura. Every word, every suggestion, every conversation was productive. She pushed me to think deeper, write sharper, and show up as my whole self.
And let’s talk about value: She’s worth 1000% of the cost. There was no “catch,” no fluff, just honest, high-impact guidance that helped me tell my story with clarity and conviction.
This morning, I received a call from Columbia Business School welcoming me to the EMBA Class of 2027. 🙏🏽 Laura, thank you for helping me walk boldly into this next chapter. I hope we stay friends forever!
Laura’s guidance while applying for full-time MBA programs was invaluable. She worked with me on the QuestBridge MBA Graduate School Match application as well as other applications directly to schools, resulting in my admission to a top 10 MBA program!
I was drawn to Laura originally due to our shared experiences in the film/ tv industry. I felt she would understand my work background and help me to articulate it to adcoms, and I was right! I’m not sure my application would have been as clear or as strong if I had worked with a consultant without firsthand experience in my non-traditional, complicated, and specific field. Laura was also very understanding that my work schedule was hectic/ shifted often, as she knew how film/ tv is.
The QuestBridge application was very involved, and Laura spent a lot of time helping me figure out how I wanted to craft my narrative in that application. She was a great listener and often pointed out moments and stories that she felt deserved to be highlighted based on the impact I had or how it shaped my career and who I am. I was very long-winded in my first essay drafts, and Laura was great at helping me find the story I wanted to tell and making sure it was clear. She also was down to help me when I decided to completely rewrite one of my big essays a week before the deadline–very scary for both of us but we trusted each other and a great essay came out of it!
I also could not have done well in the interview without our prep sessions for it. She was patient and offered great feedback when I felt stuck in during our mock interviews.
I would highly recommend Laura to MBA applicants, especially ones coming from the film/ tv industry and/or applying via QuestBridge, due to her firsthand knowledge of that application. I also felt like Laura cared about me as a human being, not just as a client, which made the process that much better.
Laura was an invaluable asset to me, from June 2024 to June 2025. I came from a very niche music industry background. Saying I’m a non-traditional candidate would be an understatement. That’s why I chose Laura! And, with an undergrad GPA of ~2.8, a sinister case of ADHD, a weak quant background, and applying on the heels of a gap year, the hurdles I faced in my MBA application process were significant.
Her strategic expertise was critical in navigating the GMAT/GRE wormhole, ADHD accommodations, and school selection. BUT, where Laura proved most valuable was helping me understand that the things I saw as application *deficits* were in fact, application *distinctions*. I saw things like my age, career background, undergrad institution, etc as negatives… but Laura lead me to the promised land of perceiving those things as the very reasons why a program should accept me. And perception is reality!
Beyond core application aspects, Laura supported me throughout the entire admissions cycle, transforming my resume to properly highlight my niche work experience in a way that would make sense to AdComs, offering guidance on communications, recommenders & rec packets, and even a crucial last minute pivot to the Haas EWMBA program. Her responsiveness, empathy, and ability to fit my square peg story into the round holes of the MBA application process, make her an exceptional partner for a non-traditional candidate like myself, and hopefully you too!
Working with Pamela was one of the best decisions I made during my MBA application journey. I was facing a very tight timeline—with only a few weeks to prepare and submit my applications—but Pamela was very responsive and honest while creating a clear and realistic plan for me.
No matter the hour or how last-minute my questions were, she responded quickly with thoughtful, actionable feedback. She wasn’t afraid to challenge my ideas when needed, and her direct yet supportive communication style helped me refine my story into something much more compelling than I could have created on my own.
Pamela took the time to truly understand my background, goals, and what made my candidacy unique. Every resume and essay revision reflected that personalized approach. Even under pressure, she never cut corners—she pushed me to dig deeper and helped me present a clear, authentic, and strategic application.
In the end, I was accepted into my top-choice program, and I genuinely believe I couldn’t have done it without her guidance. If you’re looking for someone who will be in your corner 100%, provide honest insights, and help you succeed even under time constraints, I can’t recommend Pamela highly enough! Thank you, Pamela!
Pamela was an outstanding consultant, her transparency and work process was just what I needed to get my application in as competitive a position as possible. There were times where I struggled to verbalize my thoughts and she helped me tremendously to piece together everything I needed to think through and was very patient through each iteration. She will be brutally honest about every detail in your application but that honesty will allow you to truly craft your story and find the nuggets that differentiate your story from the rest. She excels at distilling the critical things that admin committees are looking for. With her help, I got into Kellogg and Booth. I have already recommended her to some peers who will be looking to business school in the near term. Thank you again Pamela.
I highly recommend Laura for anyone considering an MBA, especially any candidate that is applying in Round 3. Laura was extremely knowledgeable about the whole MBA application process and how to position yourself with high impact in the essays/resume. As a round 3 applicant, Laura was thoughtful and supportive, providing feedback quickly. Her expertise was invaluable in my application success!
I couldn’t have gotten through the application process without Pamela. She pushed me to reach the potential she knew I had, even when it was challenging. The application process is intense but I always knew Pamela wanted the best outcome for me and she delivered at every step.
Her attention to detail is exceptional, and she operates with a sense of urgency that’s both reassuring and motivating. I had a tight turnaround from when I decided to apply to application deadlines. She was incredibly responsive, strategic, and solutions-oriented, tailoring her support to fit my unique situation while keeping standards high. I submitted an application I was truly proud of and got in to CBS. Thank you!!
Without a doubt, I never would have gotten into Wharton without Pamela’s expertise and guidance. I had decided to apply to MBA programs very late ahead of round 2. When I first met with Pamela, I was completely unfamiliar with the process and lacking all pieces of an application. Pamela jumped right into it – giving me a chance and encouraging me to go for it. She is incredibly knowledgeable about each school and knows how to build an application that aligns with the values and objectives of each. She is honest, direct, efficient and incredibly skilled at bringing clarity to the entire process. I left each interaction with Pamela feeling determined and aligned on what my next steps were. Within 1 month she managed to help me build an application that was cohesive, impressive and a true reflection of myself. Working with Pamela was the key to my success in this process. I’m so grateful she took me on as a client so late in the process. I’m thrilled to be attending Wharton this Fall.
I work a full-time job and had limited time to navigate all the steps involved in the MBA application process. Laura was an incredible resource—she provided clear, detailed guidance on what needed to be done at each stage. She also helped me evaluate the different testing options (EA vs. GMAT vs. GRE), walking me through the pros and cons of each and advising on the one that would best position me for success.
Laura played a key role in helping me identify schools that aligned with my interests and what I was looking for in an MBA experience. Her support with my essays was invaluable—she helped me pinpoint the right stories to highlight and offered multiple rounds of thoughtful, constructive feedback to make them as strong as possible.
Finally, her mock interview prep was instrumental. She made sure I was confident, polished, and ready to clearly articulate my background and why I was interested in each school.
I truly can’t imagine going through this process without her—and I got into my top choice.
Pamela was a pleasure to work with and an amazing consultant. I can’t recommend her enough. Pamela guided me through every step of the application, responding to questions day and night. She helped me get into all my top choices, including CBS, Yale SOM, and INSEAD. I could not have gone through the process without her and would 1000% recommend her to anyone looking for an admissions consultant.
I was referred to Pamela by a former coworker. Pamela was incredibly helpful in my MBA application experience. She was able to help me craft my story, and prepare me with what I needed to improve before applying (in my case it was my GMAT score). Working with a lower than average GPA for undergrad, we were able to leverage my GMAT score and unconventional story to grant me admission to Tuck, Fuqua, and Johnson. She was always very responsive and clear in feedback, and open to calls when necessary to speed things along.
Simply put, I would not have gotten accepted to Booth, Kellogg, CBS, and Yale SOM without Pamela. Pamela helped me take my humble background (non-target undergraduate school, small consulting firm background, and lower than average GRE score) and craft it into a compelling story to tell AdComms. As proven by her near perfect track record, Pamela is extremely knowledgeable in the admissions process of top MBA programs, and she knows how to tailor each application to fit the specific program you’re applying to. She is direct, extremely organized, wicked fast in replying to your questions, and committed to your application journey. Working with Pamela was not only a professional win, but also a personal win. Anyone who gets to work with and know Pamela is very fortunate.
I was referred to Pamela by a mutual friend and former client of hers. I was initially skeptical about the cost of an admissions consultant and wasn’t sure if it was worth it. After working with Pamela on my application to Tuck, I have no regrets.
As a veteran applicant, the MBA admissions process seemed daunting and unfamiliar. Pamela cut through the BS for me and provided the direct, pointed feedback that I needed to translate my unique experiences into a cohesive narrative in a way that felt true to who I really am. She never wasted my time and was extremely reliable when working on a condensed timeline with other competing priorities in my own life.
If you are looking for someone who will shoot you straight and help you communicate your value to an MBA program, I cannot recommend Pamela enough.
I highly recommend Laura for anyone’s MBA application consulting needs. I initially hired her to aid me in my application essays, and she proved to be incredibly helpful. Not only were her edits and comments very smart and significantly improved the quality of my essays and short answers, but she was very quick in her turnaround.
After my applications were submitted, I was invited to interview and I met with Laura again to prepare. Our sessions were extremely useful and I was prepared and confident going into the interview.
I ultimately received an acceptance letter from USC Marshall along with a scholarship offer.
I found Laura through her TikTok page when I was looking for tips on applying to MBA programs. I first came across her video detailing how to answer “What about our program interests you?” where Laura was incredibly transparent stating, “All top B-schools are pretty similar, so unless you have some touching backstory or connection, focus more on the faculty you want to meet and discuss points of their research.” This was enough for me to scroll through her entire page and eventually search for an email to reach out. I immediately started working with her and asked how to apply in the 2025 cycle. She was so encouraging saying, “There are options for you right now in 2024 if you’re interested. Let’s be strategic on which schools we pick.” For me, she recommended two specific schools and I ended up applying to only one and that is where I attend currently. I was one-for-one with Laura and I think that is a testament to her ability to personalize her strategy to aspirants SO WELL that I have a 100% success rate with her even shooting for just a singular school. Cannot recommend her enough!
I highly recommend Laura as an MBA consultant! She stays up to date with application trends and understands what each school is looking for, making her guidance both relevant and strategic. Laura is incredibly straightforward and directional in her feedback, which helped me stay focused throughout the process.
She was also considerate with my time—she tracks every session and keeps you informed about hours used and remaining, ensuring full transparency. For my application, I wrote drafts independently and had Laura review them to confirm I was on the right path and addressing the key points my target schools wanted to see. She not only did that but also helped refine my application to ensure it was well-rounded and highlighted all aspects of my experience effectively. Working with her was invaluable!
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Laura during my application process for London Business School and I couldn’t have asked for a better consultant. Laura is not only incredibly professional and knowledgeable but also genuinely good-natured and a great person to communicate with. Her insights, strategic advice, and attention to detail were invaluable throughout my journey. Thanks to her guidance, I was accepted into my business school, and I can confidently say that her support was a crucial factor in my success. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about your goals and knows how to help you achieve them, Laura is the one to go to. Highly recommend!
Pamela was incredibly helpful as I learned more about the application process, narrowed down my school list, and started crafting essays and applications. She is organized and kept me on track as I worked through all of my applications. Her experience and editing brought the best out of my stories and background and helped me put my best foot forward. I got into some of my top schools with Pamela’s help, and I’ll be attending Wharton in the fall. I am so glad I worked with her!
From the moment I began working with Laura, I knew that I had found someone who was going to make sure I was successful from start to finish. I cannot recommend her more highly. As someone with a non-traditional background, I found a lot of comfort in the fact that Laura had been there and really knew what I was going through. She was able to help me tailor my applications to ensure I was always showing myself in the best light and made me feel more confident about my ability to be accepted into top programs. Laura was realistic yet encouraging, always providing actionable advice to help me continue to succeed. I especially appreciated her interview help – we were able to go over sample questions and hone my answers. Laura always kept my interview dates and visits in her calendar, and I looked forward to filling her in after the events. I was accepted to all of the schools I applied for in R1, and I owe a lot of that success to Laura’s help!
Going into the MBA application process, I had some reservations about working with an admissions consultant. Looking back, I don’t regret the decision at all, especially working with Pamela. She has a deep understanding of the application process as well as what each school is looking for in candidates. With Pamela’s expert guidance, I was able to figure out my story and craft compelling essays. What I appreciated most was Pamela’s honesty through the process, as she was not afraid to tell me if an idea was or was not going to work. The MBA application process is not easy and such honesty was needed to ensure that I was turning out the best possible product. Pamela really pushes you to put 110% effort and her attention to detail makes sure that there are no holes in your work. When preparing for interviews, she also provided candid feedback as well as valuable knowledge on what types of questions I should anticipate for the specific schools I was invited to interview with. Ultimately, I was admitted to both Kellogg and Columbia. I definitely would not have been able to get these offers without Pamela’s help. Cannot recommend working with her enough!
The results speak for themselves. I had the opportunity to get into two of my top MBA choices thanks to the assistance that Pamela provided.
Through a collaborative approach, and in-depth knowledge of each school I was interested in, we were able to tailor my preferences, stories, and timeline to achieve the positive outcomes I wanted.
Pamela is candid about her option, the level of work necessary, and what schools would be a good fit, saving time, creating efficiency, and ultimately allowing focus on the right topics.
I look forward to people asking for advice on admissions consultants so I can have the opportunity to recommend Pamela. Thanks again!
I have to say that my application was in a much better spot because of Pamela. The resume tailoring she did was amazing and really showcased my accomplishments. Her feedback is great, both honest and candid which helped me better display my achievements on my application. She knew exactly how to articulate the story that I wanted to craft and she truly helped tremendously in the process.
Very communicative and immensely organized.
Laura is the best! She gave me invaluable guidance and support during my MBA application process. Laura was not only extremely knowledgeable about the process, but she was also genuinely invested in my success. From our very first consultation, Laura took the time to understand my background, aspirations, and concerns. From polishing my resume, to helping me craft the most effective essays, to prepping for my interview and more, her insights and feedback were invaluable. Throughout the entire process, Laura was reliable, encouraging, and thoughtful. She is extremely easy to work with, and it calmed my nerves knowing that I had Laura in my corner. Laura’s coaching undoubtedly made my application stronger, and ultimately led to an early action acceptance letter – and a scholarship – from my top school. I am so grateful for Laura’s support and I highly recommend her for anyone seeking expert guidance through the MBA admissions process!
I am going to keep this short and sweet.
Pamela is worth every penny. Partnering with her will be an amazing investment decision.
I loved working with Pamela for the following simple reasons: 1. She is incredibly organized. 2. She is very honest with her feedback.
My younger brother is going to be applying for business school in the future and he will 100% use Pamela Jaffe for his admissions process.
I am so grateful that I worked The Jaffe Advantage.
Laura was extremely helpful from the start to finish of my application process. She is very knowledgeable of the MBA admissions process and about MBAs overall, especially for professionals seeking a next step in their career. She advised me on the type of MBA to pursue to achieve my professional goals, and helped me tremendously with my application. I was able to unlock a lot of my writing potential with her especially when it came to the applications essays. She was always available to provide feedback, and was a delight to work with! I would love to recommend her to anyone seeking admission to a top MBA program.
Laura really went above and beyond to be accessible and provide invaluable input at every step of the way, making the process feel collaborative and far less stressful. I ended up learning way more than I expected about everything the Haas adcom would be interested in knowing. I followed every piece of her advice, even though there were things I was initially hesitant to include, and I’m glad I did. Absolutely recommend choosing her!
Her knowledge of the MBA application process is very thorough. She was extremely helpful in my preparation for submitting applications, as well as the interview process! I was initially waitlisted by my target school in Round 1. Laura helped me strengthen my application and provided feedback which ultimately led to an acceptance letter from my target school. She is extremely easy to work with and is willing to work around any scheduling issues.
I fear this review cannot adequately do Pamela justice because she was SO invaluable throughout this process and I literally could not have done this without her. I did “end-to-end advisory,” so Pamela helped me through the exploratory phase (I had no idea why I wanted to go to B school) to actually choosing a school. In particular, I appreciated (in no particular order) (i) the QUALITY of Pamela’s edits – my essays would improve immeasurably every time she gave edits; (ii) Pamela’s organization (she set clear expectations so I always knew where we were in the process and when I’d be getting edits back); (iii) Pamela’s candor – she and I could be 1000% real with one another, which led to better applications, and generally made the process smoother and more enjoyable; and (iv) Pamela’s encyclopedic knowledge of every school, its specific essays, and its AdCom’s preferences – SO helpful.
I had a lot of trouble getting a good test score, and by the time I had a score I could submit it was very late in the game for R2, and Pamela was straight with me about what was possible and not possible. (Don’t be me!!! Prepare your applications early!!!) When it came time to preparing apps, I cannot stress enough how quickly she and I pulled together quality essays. This involved day-of turnarounds (I’m so sorry Pamela…) with both of us unable to see by the end of each day. Throughout this very stressful time, it was such a relief to know Pamela was in my corner. And, her edits were brilliant – she just made essays better! She went ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty during this time. I really felt like I had someone rooting for me as much as I was rooting for me.
I ultimately got a $140k scholarship to UCLA Anderson, as well as an admission to Stern and waitlist at CBS (like most got R2). I’m taking the money and heading to Los Angeles in August!
Pamela is worth the money. I was admitted to 3/4 top tier schools with scholarships at each, ranging from 20K to full ride. I am going to Tuck with a significant merit-based scholarship. Pamela is transparent, always honest, and helps you navigate the entire process end to end. She is a pro!!!
A friend of mine worked with Pamela and highly recommended I do the same. Let me tell you – I am SO happy I took her advice. Before working with Pamela I had no idea how to navigate the MBA application process; it felt like a black box. But Pamela makes it clear, and takes the time to explain everything to you.
If you had told me a year ago that I would be accepted to my top choice with a significant scholarship I wouldn’t have believed you. Pamela is absolutely incredible – so helpful and amazing at providing edits ranging from the big picture story to specific grammatical corrections.
I have an unconventional background, and Pamela took the time to understand this in detail, and then helped me understand what I should focus on to stand out as an applicant. My GRE scores weren’t good enough – Pamela helped me understand where I needed to be. I took the test five times. I struggled with the quant portion – Pamela recommended an amazing tutor. I still didn’t hit the score I needed – Pamela helped me navigate additional coursework to support my application.
When thinking about my personal story and the application essays, Pamela was honest with me, provided strategic feedback, and was clear about what aspects I should highlight to distinguish myself. I feel as though I have gone through a master class on personal branding and clear, insightful storytelling.
In a nutshell: do yourself a favor and work with Pamela. It is SO worth the investment, and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. I trust her completely, and she was always available to help me – from the very first call through to scholarship negotiation.
THANK YOU, PAMELA!!!
Pamela is a great consultant who provided valuable advice and helped me from start to finish during my application. As an international applicant with little to no experience in applying to schools Pamela was of great help. She provided insight into the whole application process and demonstrated her experience by helping tailor each application to meet each school´s expectations.
I truly enjoyed working with Pamela and getting to tell my story with her help. Pamela is very structured, and her feedback is always very honest and concrete. Even though I has a very busy schedule working with her was struggle free as I always knew Pamela would deliver her work on time. Pamela even went out of her way several times to help me meet the tight deadlines and she always kept her word.
I really appreciated how Pamela tries, and manages, to understand you as a person and as an applicant. This makes the whole experience easier and makes her feedback much more valuable and specific. Pamela always found areas of improvement of my essays and interview answers, and when something was not working, she was honest about it and helped change/improve it. This personal and honest feedback really makes you craft the best application possible.
I would recommend working with Pamela to anyone who wants to apply to business school. My experience was amazing, and she managed to help me get into two of my top choices!
I did a ton of research to figure out which route to go for a consultant and found Pamela from a personal referral. I am so happy I used her because the experience was extremely personal from start to finish. With some of these other companies, you have to buy “hour credits” or may even work with different consultants throughout the entire process. Pamela is with you every step of the way and really gets to know your story. Pamela is also as direct as it gets. She will challenge you to revise your essays, resume and application responses over and over again until it’s your best work. She also helps you prep for interviews, discuss how to get off the waitlist, and even advises you on specific programs within the business school. Even if you use Pamela for only 3 schools (like I did), you can apply her methodology and feedback to all the other schools you apply to. Looking back I can’t even imagine going through the process again without her. If you’re debating using her…DON’T! She is worth every penny!!!
There is no person that I would have rather had on this journey alongside me than Pam Jaffe. If you want someone who is going to write your essays for you and help you do the least amount of work to submit a decent application, then help is best found elsewhere. But if you are willing to devote the hours, if you are ok receiving honest (and extremely helpful feedback), and if you want to submit the best possible application that you can and put your best foot forward at a critical juncture in life, then Pam is the person for you. Working with Pam is not always rainbows and butterflies. Throughout our seven months working together (from crafting my narrative through help with three interviews), Pam challenged me and asked me to go one step further with my story, be one word clearer in my essays, and have one more thing highlighted in rec letters. At times, I spent more mental energy parsing through 400 word essays than I did at my actual job. But when I finally clicked submit on every single school that I applied to, I knew, with certainty, that I submitted the best application I could and that I could not have gotten there without Pam. As an aside, I wrote most of my essays about my sports/entertainment background, and even though Pam didn’t know a huge amount about the industry broadly, she still found a way to help me tell the perfect story (bonus points for anyone who may have a non-traditional background!). Working with Pam is like working with another superstar on an NBA team. Playing styles might not always match, and when things get stressful during a long season, there may be a modicum of friction. But friction makes fire, and eventually you will emerge a champion (CBS ’26 for me!). If you are willing to put in the work and want the best application you can possibly submit, Pam is the person you want in your locker room.
One of the best things about Pamela is her honesty – she’s not afraid to tell you where you can improve or if a draft isn’t quite cutting it, which is the best use of a client’s time and money. She picked up on many elements of my story right away and helped me tie it all together in an expert way. Thrilled to be going to GSB next year.
Laura provided invaluable advice throughout the application process. Her guidance was thoughtful, actionable, detailed and certainly helped my application reach another level. She was responsive, patient, and overall very easy to work with. Ultimately, her help was instrumental in getting me admitted into a top program. I highly recommend Laura without hesitation!
