Working with Dawn was incredible. She helped me gain admission to HBS. Dawn was a great thought partner, guiding me through school selection and helping me position my candidacy strategically. I also appreciated Dawn’s very positive energy, and I would recommend Dawn to anyone applying to top programs.
Dawn went above and beyond in every facet of the application process. When I started working with Dawn, I was unfamiliar with the MBA application process; I came from a non-traditional background, hadn’t taken the GMAT yet, and wasn’t sure about my future career goals or which schools would be good fits. Dawn’s expertise and guidance were invaluable. She worked tirelessly to help craft my personal narrative, clarify my career goals, and do everything possible to leverage the strengths in my profile to create the most compelling and strategically-positioned applications possible. Dawn’s knowledge of admissions trends and processes of the top MBA programs constantly shone through. Her essay guidance and frameworks were incredibly helpful, and her interview prep and mock interview ensured that I was as prepared as possible for my interviews. I ended up being accepted to every school to which I applied, including Booth and Haas, and I couldn’t have done it without Dawn. I couldn’t recommend Dawn more!
Dawn was instrumental in helping me achieve the best possible results I could have hoped for, including acceptance to my dream school (HBS), Wharton, Kellogg, and Booth. Dawn put in a great deal of time and effort to listen to my story and craft a unique application strategy that highlighted what I was able to offer to MBA programs. She also has deep knowledge of the application processes of top schools, which brought valuable insights. I would not have achieved the same success without her partnership,
Dawn helped me get into my dream program (Stanford GSB MBA and Harvard Kennedy School MPA dual degree). She played a crucial role in my application from beginning till end. I’ve spoken with multiple consultants, but Dawn was by far the best. I tell all my friends that are interested in applying to MBAs to speak to her as soon as they can because she gets booked out very early in the year. Dawn was by far the most strategic consultant I spoke with. As an example, I delayed my application to Round 2 following her advice to secure a promotion before my application, and this played an important role in securing my offers. She also set the highest standards compared to other consultants. She will challenge and push you, and by the end of it you will have achieved more than you could think of! She is personal, kind, highly ethical, and she truly values you as a person. Dawn also has a great overview on the application from a holistic perspective but goes into the details of your entire history as a human being. In the end, she helps you achieve your dreams. And this experience will go beyond a typical admissions consulting experience. She will help you find your path! It’s an absolute no-brainer to work with Dawn and I couldn’t be more grateful.
The MBA application process can be complex, but Dawn’s thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and experience proved invaluable. Dawn worked closely with me every step of the way – from creating a personal narrative to editing essays to preparing for interviews. She also stays very up-to-date with the latest admissions trends. With her help, I was admitted into several MBA programs, including HBS and Wharton. I highly recommend Dawn!
I will be attending INSEAD next year thanks in no small part to Dawn’s help! Dawn took a truly holistic approach to developing and defining my story, which was essential to helping me stand out as an over-represented candidate. Dawn has highly detailed knowledge on all the programs I was considering, and she did a phenomenal job of helping emphasize different components of my background to tailor to what specific schools were looking for. Dawn has mastered the craft of business school applications with her unique approach, wealth of knowledge, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail, and I would recommend her to anyone looking to differentiate themselves from a sea of competitive applicants. Thank you, Dawn!
As a reapplicant, I needed someone to help me highlight my strengths and make me stand out. Dawn helped me do all that and more – she is why I got admitted into GSB. She went over every part of my application with a fine tooth comb and made me make edits until every part was virtually perfect. She gets results. She knows these programs inside and out and, more importantly, how to help you get there. She maximizes your potential; if you are in two minds, I cannot recommend her enough.
As an international re-applicant from an overrepresented pool and with a master’s degree already my chances of getting in were low, much lower than the admissions percentage.
Thanks to Dawn, we did it!!! I received dual admission to HBS and GSB on the second attempt.
I would like to highlight some strengths that distinguish Dawn from all her colleagues: – She is laser-sharp when identifying areas that I could improve and those that I could build upon to have a stronger application the second time around. Knowing where I could fall helped me make sure that I didn’t! – Her meticulous methodical approach: she really does go line by line and does not try to cut corners – Her supportive attitude, confidence in my success, and true care. – Oh, and a smiley personality!
Very grateful to Dawn for her coaching and would not be able to do this without her!
Dawn was my consultant for MBA application, and I got into Booth (half ride) and HBS. She was instrumental during my application process. I am really glad I chose her as my advisor, cannot recommend her enough!!!
SBC’s initial onboarding more than anything was about finding me a personality match, and I’m happy to have been recommended to work with Dawn. Dawn is extremely knowledgeable, outspoken, sharp, and attentive. Together, we picked apart every possible aspect of my personal and personal journey leading up to this point. When we started strategizing for each school, I am comfortable with her recommendations as I feel like she is thoroughly informed of who I am and what materials I’m working with. It is clear that Dawn simply knows what type of candidates fits with what program better. While she didn’t make it explicit what she thinks my best fit might be, I do feel like we prioritized our essay discussions and other preparations according to not just deadlines but also where my best shots lie – so I can make sure to put my best foot forward for those programs. Towards the later stage of app prep, Dawn was still able to look at my whole package from a rather objective perspective. She warned me in advance of some areas of weaknesses that another independent reader from SBC also pointed out during their “flight test” review. Overall I’m very pleased with the result and Dawn’s mentorship.
Working with Dawn was an absolute pleasure. She helped me navigate the process with ease and was always VERY responsive. Dawn knew all of the intricacies of each of my target schools’ applications and did an excellent job of helping me to identify how to connect my story to each application. I genuinely believe that any prospective MBA applicant would be lucky to work with Dawn throughout the admissions process. Thanks to Dawn and SBC I was accepted to every school that I applied to (all top 10 programs) and received significant scholarship offers to multiple programs.
Dawn is patient, highly intelligent, and works tirelessly to ensure nothing but the strongest application from her clients. As a foreign applicant, I benefited significantly from Dawn’s ability to phrase things in a truly American way. She helped tease out the most important messages and stories from my past that formed the basis of my admissions essays, and provided crucial support at all stages of the admissions process. Without a doubt, I would not have been accepted to several of the world’s top business schools were it not for the work of Dawn and the team at SBC.
