I applied to Chicago Booth’s Deferred MBA program with Kim and had an outstanding experience. Kim was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, always quick to answer my questions in detail and provide thoughtful feedback.
Her strategy guidance was extremely thorough and she helped me craft a clear, compelling narrative and made sure every aspect of my application fit together cohesively. Kim’s edits to my writing were detailed and precise, elevating my essays and resume to a level I couldn’t have achieved on my own.
She pushed me to dig deeper and present my story authentically, while also making sure my application aligned with what Booth is looking for. The support I received was personalized and consistent from start to finish. Kim is someone you want in your corner during the MBA application process.
Thanks to Kim’s expertise and encouragement, I was accepted to Booth’s Deferred MBA program. I am truly grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend working with her to anyone applying to a top MBA program.
I applied to 3 schools R2 for the class of 2024. I worked with Kim for 2 of the schools (1 previous reject). I loved the intro strategy session where Kim dove into my past and helped pull out the best experiences and a direction to craft my applications. She had fantastic perspectives around crafting resumes, LOR, and how to build/frame my essays based on my experiences and career goals. She always replied promptly to my endless questions about the admissions process and the different intricacies (and overthinking) of my application. Overall, I was waitlisted to the 2 schools I worked with her on and was rejected from the one I didn’t. After being waitlisted, Kim provided great support in helping craft my final push to stand out and provide a meaningful waitlist update. I was finally accepted into my dream school and could not be happier with the outcome. Thank you so much for your help, Kim! You are truly appreciated!
I applied in R1 2021 and got into my dream school with a decent scholarship! I could not have done this without Kim.
Kim knows her stuff. I only wanted to go to the best schools, so I decided only to apply to three full-time MBA programs. Looking back, this was a risky move and I should have listened to Kim on having a more expanded school list. During our initial phone call, Kim accurately assessed my chance with each school (now that we have found out the rejections/offers)! She knows what admission committees of different schools look for and is able to provide an objective evaluation of my profile. Some other MBA consultants that I talked to are not able to be so objective and honest.
Kim is very professional. We kicked off the application process a month before the first deadline. Kim helped me develop a schedule and keep things at the right pace – the application process was manageable while working full time, but we also left enough time for revisions. Her comments and feedbacks were always helpful and had a quick turnaround. Kim accommodated my interview schedule on short notice, which I greatly appreciated. Kim was always patient and happy to answer my miscellaneous questions, anything from communicating with adcoms to second-guessing my chances of getting in LOL
Kim provided much value from a third-person perspective in my application process. To me, the MBA application process is like a black hole. Without knowing exactly how it works, it’s impossible for me to clearly and fairly evaluate every aspect of my application. Kim acted as the gatekeeper – she allowed the good stuff to go into my application and rejected the not-so-good stuff. For example, she outright pointed out that an entire essay I wrote for one school did not feel sincere at all. She also made sure things mentioned at one point in my application were consistent with the rest of the application – something I tend to miss as I become laser-focused on only part of the whole application.
Kim inspired me but never did the work for me. Kim directed me to expand my thinking when it comes to what could be included in my application. She also provided me with resources that I could leverage when it comes to network and other aspects of my application. I bounced ideas off of her, but she never did or write specific things for me or forced any idea on me. I believe this is the best working model between a candidate and his/her consultant, as it is simply ethically correct and helps to discover the candidate’s best potential. After all, the MBA application process is also a great time for self-reflection and self-discovery.
The first time around, I did not get in (w/out Kim’s help). I decided to re-apply and Kim was amazing. She brought a fresh perspective to my candidacy and writing style. She was very responsive!
I had little to no understanding of the MBA application process and Kim helped me every single step of the way. We had very thorough calls on what was expected, detailed outlines on what was to be done by what date, and I could email her whenever I was confused, stressed, or in need of any form of help. There were many times when I emailed her at night and she would respond; Kim is just on it! She is friendly, understanding, and has many insights into what each school expects. She knows what they want. I did the all-in package with Kim for two schools: Booth and Kellogg. I chose Booth with a scholarship.
Absolutely could not have done it without Kim. She broke the whole process down so that I could tackle each portion in manageable pieces. She explained what the adcoms were looking for in each section. She was supportive even when I had my doubts. Thank you, Kim!!
Kim helped me in many ways but predominantly by “demystifying” the MBA application process… being an international applicant, I was full of questions and concerns. Kim was able to break each step down into manageable and meaningful pieces, with each step bringing me closer to a polished application. She helped me alleviate my insecurities and guided me through the process. I especially appreciated Kim’s straightforward and honest feedback, which enabled me to truly reflect on my strengths and areas for improvement. Through candid brainstorming sessions and iterations of my essays with her, I was able to paint a story of my life and accomplishments with pride and confidence. I can recommend Kim to anyone who is looking for a consultant that pairs competency with honesty. I could not be more grateful for all of Kim’s help. Teaming up with her for my applications was the best investment I ever made and is already changing my life.
Being from a section of the population/profession that applies for Business programs there was very little I could bring into the whole diversity aspect of things apart from my experience with my family business. Kimberly’s approach made me dig deep and bring out my qualities and past professional/personal experiences that would prove to be valuable. I only applied to Booth and Haas as I wanted to go to the best schools or not pursue this path at all. I chose the whole package from application material prep to prepping for the interview for Booth. Kimberly is very perceptive and understands the applicant quiet well more than themselves and delivers accordingly which makes the entire process stress free. I actually enjoyed working on my apps as the process was streamlined and broken down into small pieces/milestones. The only mistake I made was, I took the Haas interview before we scheduled the mock interview session as I was confident with the material we had prepared. Got a reject from Haas but got an offer from Booth. This only proves that every step of consulting process is critical to the application. Kimberly is also very prompt and quick in getting back with review responses and suggestions which made it possible for me to complete the application in time. Her attention to detail is remarkable. Highly recommend her to anyone applying for the best schools.
I spent three months with Kim and it was one of the most worthwhile experiences I have had. Her feedback was candid and straightforward. Much of Kim’s comments and perspective were things that would have never occurred to me. With Kim’s support, I was able to organize my essay thoughts/ideas and compile a competitive set of responses. I only applied to Chicago Booth and was accepted. I highly recommend Kim!
Kim was an absolutely excellent and essential part of my MBA application process. She thoughtfully reviewed my resume and helped me transform it from something mediocre to a clear succinct list that really showcased my strengths. I found our brainstorming sessions to be extremely valuable, as she helped me narrow down my ideas and provided helpful guidance as to how to think about and structure my essays. I applied to Wharton, Booth, and Kellogg, and got into the last two, with a 50% scholarship from Booth. Could not have done it without you Kim!
Worked with Kim from Oct 2019 till Feb 2020. Her suggestions for improvement in my essays were fantastic. She made sure of how to get the flow and connections and convey a story. She also helped me refine my resume, which earlier was nowhere close to what bschools expect. For the interview, she helped me practice sample questions and suggested on how to come up with a structure. Last year, I had applied to full-time MBAs and had got rejected from all schools. This year I applied to only Kellogg for Part-Time MBA and got in. Without her help, my application materials would have been vague, confusing and difficult for adcom to connect. Totally recommend Kim!!
