I have over 15 years of experience in higher education and admissions consulting and have helped applicants earn spots in all top MBA, MSBA, and MSF programs.
With a master’s degree in psychology, I started my coaching career at Columbia University, where I advised undergraduates as an Advising Dean. I later moved downtown to NYU Stern, where I was an Associate Director of MBA Admissions. As part of the Admissions Committee, I actively recruited domestic and international applicants, reading 400+ candidate files and interviewing 100+ applicants, annually. I left in 2015 to start my own consulting firm because when I saw applications fall short, I had a burning desire to help the applicant retell their story in a more compelling way.
Consistently referred to as a ‘cheerleader’ and ‘deep listener’ by former clients, my goal is to help you uncover your unique stories, find your voice, and discover your worth. I have a particular interest in promoting diversity and inclusivity in business and have been invited to speak at the Reaching Out Pre-MBA Conference, Forté MBA Launch, MBA Insider Podcast, and MBA Waves. I am also a proud member of AIGAC, the Association of International Admissions Consultants, and recently earned recognition as one of Poets & Quants top consultants (2023, 2024).
After 20 years in NYC, I recently moved to suburban New Jersey, where I live with my husband and daughters. I meet clients virtually.
I feel honored to do this work full-time, and work with only 10 clients per round, which allows me to bring a hands-on, personalized approach to coaching. My clients have earned spots at all top MBA programs, including successful reapplications, last minute waitlist pulls, and sub-3.0 GPA’s gaining admission to M7 schools. I have also helped clients secure over $5M in scholarships.

Working with Lindsay was truly transformative and impactful for my MBA journey. Her deep experience and trusted guidance helped me navigate program choices and the entire application process with confidence. She provided tailored, actionable advice and pointed me to invaluable resources I wouldn’t have found otherwise. Thanks to her support, I felt far more prepared, educated, and at ease every step of the way. I truly could not have been admitted to the CBS EMBA program without her expertise and encouragement. I also loved how she operated with such effectiveness and organization. She made me a lot less stressed and encouraged throughout the process, something that is so invaluable through this process.
Working with Lindsay was the best decision I made during my MBA application journey. Balancing a full-time job while applying to business school felt overwhelming at first, but her strategic guidance and structured support made all the difference. She was instrumental in helping me stay on track with every deadline and brought out the best in my story through thoughtful brainstorming sessions, essay feedback and interview prep. Thanks to her, I was admitted to my top-choice school along with several others, and I received generous scholarship offers. I couldn’t have done it without her expertise and encouragement. Highly recommend!
I was referred to Lindsay early on in my MBA process. At the time I was unsure of which schools I should target and what score I needed on the GMAT Focus Edition be admitted to those schools. Lindsay took the time to review all I have to offer holistically, discuss my short- and long-term career goals, and craft my story from scratch. Without Lindsay’s help I would have not known where to start. Further, once Lindsay and I chose target schools and I achieved my GMAT score she made the application process a breeze. Having someone with Lindsay’s expertise allowed me to tackle the intense application process while keeping of with my demanding job. Ultimately, I was admitted to two of my top M7 choices (CBS and Booth with a Scholarship) and will be attending Booth next fall. I could not have achieved this without Lindsay’s help.
Lindsay is an incredible MBA admissions consultant who provided outstanding support throughout my application process. She offered insightful feedback and helped me uncover key aspects of my identity/story to create compelling applications. Both my partner and I worked with Lindsay, and she guided us in selecting the same programs based on our individual interests.
Thanks to her help, we both got into an M7 program and are excited to attend together. Lindsay is detail-oriented, ensuring every part of our applications was well-crafted. She communicated clearly and kept us informed at every stage. Her realistic approach gave us honest assessments and set us on the right path. Most of all, Lindsay’s encouragement was a huge boost!
Her expertise made a real difference in our MBA journey. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable admissions consultant!!
I worked with Lindsay for the most recent MBA application process (c/o ’27), using her full service comprehensive package. She was recommended to me by one of her former clients, and I can say with certainty that the recommendation was the single most important event in my MBA application journey. She was incredibly attentive to the point where you can sometimes feel like you’re her only client, and turnaround times were quick. She knows how to navigate the process and is very realistic and rational in her approach. The work quality was outstanding – the essays/apps were all my own, but she got to know me well and helped me pull out my most impactful stories/anecdotes, creating a cohesive narrative across my life and career. My first drafts (pre-Lindsay) compared to the finished products (post-Lindsay) were quite frankly embarrassing… I believe she was vital in helping me receive acceptances from 2/3 HSW schools (including my top choice GSB!!!) and that my apps were of the highest possible quality that I could’ve put forward. While consultants are expensive categorically, I am incredibly satisfied with the ROI here (A+++ consultant at a great price), and will be recommending her to all my friends and colleagues. If you’re in the market for a consultant, I can PROMISE you that you won’t regret working with Lindsay!!!
I worked with Lindsay on an hourly basis for help with my resume, essays, and interviews and she was great. She was extremely helpful with the whole essay process from start to finish, crafting my story, making sure I was getting the points across that were most impactful, and editing. She also did interview prep with me which was very valuable as she helped me learn what to expect and to ensure the interview was a positive addition to my application. In the end I received multiple acceptances with sizable scholarships that I don’t think would have been possible without her help.
Working with Lindsay was the best decision I made during my MBA application process. I selected her comprehensive support package and felt it was more than worth it. She was unwaveringly positive, yet realistic, and helped me address weak areas of my application and highlight the areas where I really shine. Lindsay was invaluable in helping me sort through my profile and the parts of myself and my story I wanted to focus on and hone them into meaningful essays. She helped me outline a timeline and kept me on track and organized through the entire process and because of that I was able to apply Round 1 with applications that represented my best self. I was accepted to both my top choice schools (CBS and NYU) with a full ride to NYU! That would absolutely not have been possible without her guidance and expertise. Could not recommend her more highly. If you have any doubts, one phone call with Lindsay will put any worries you have to rest.
I decided I wanted to apply to business schools in May – having yet to study for the GRE/GMAT – and met with several consultants to support me in the application process. After meeting with Lindsay, who a past colleague had referred me to, I had a gut feeling that she was the right person to partner with: she was clearly a great listener, structured thinker, and proactive project manager, which I knew I needed! Through the rest of the year, Lindsay was with me every step of the way, helping me think through my career goals and essays, encouraging me as I balanced this with test prep, and showing tremendous patience and grace when I pivoted my direction on school selection a few months into working together. Lindsay was particularly helpful in keeping me focused on the big picture, which helped me stay on track with Round 1 deadlines under a tight timeline and ultimately decide between two acceptances – Tuck and Haas – which both awarded me scholarships beyond my dreams!
Lindsay was an enormous help in my applications and is a truly genuine and thoughtful partner throughout the process! She knows how to help you craft your story so you can put your best foot forward with each school. I can’t recommend her highly enough! Thanks to Lindsay’s help, I was admitted to Wharton and Kellogg with a full-tuition scholarship at Kellogg.
Lindsay was amazing to work with. I was on the fence about working with a consultant because I was fearful of the costs and questioned the value but after one 30-minute consult with Lindsay I knew she was the right answer.
I gave her a set number of hours to work with and she respected my budget more than I did which is very honest of her (I offered to do more hours and she explained why I was set up for success on my own). (and I got into my M7 school and 3 / 4 other top 10 programs)
What I personally appreciated the most was her skills at helping me brainstorm a structure and answer for the essays (which felt daunting and then super simple after our chats). That being said, if you want to use her more for interview prep or something else, she’s equally fantastic.
Wouldn’t be going to b-school without her plain and simple. Did the comprehensive 1-school package and without it I wouldn’t have received my full scholarship, implying the package is priced at a fraction of its value. This is of course not even including the peace of mind of working with a professional who clears up any information gaps and keeps you accountable to deadlines.
I started my MBA application journey being very unsure about how to approach my profile and to craft a unique, convincing narrative throughout my essays, as well as which schools I can realistically get in. I got on a free call with Lindsay right after obtaining a fairly good GMAT score and had no idea where to start. Lindsay walked me through the process step by step and encouraged me to aim high. Together we drew a list of programs to target, and brainstormed relevant essay topics. Throughout the process Lindsay was always a very good listener who not only picked up on interesting parts of my profile I didn’t know would be useful and helped connect the dots, but was also very receptive to my own comments and preferences in terms of schools and programs. Although she was very helpful, she always made sure you were the coming up with the ideas and goals and she was there to support you. Every draft essay I sent her would be thoroughly reviewed and filled with helpful comments; every interview I had Lindsay helped prepare me and also reassured my nerves. In the end I got into 2 out of the 4 M7 programs I applied to in R1— which I could not have done without Lindsay!
I was hesitant to work with any admissions consultant, period. Lindsay showed a rare combination of professionalism and empathy in our consultation call that immediately made me feel she’d be worth the money. She certainly was, and then some; with her guidance, I was admitted to all three schools I applied to (two M7s and a T15), and was offered generous scholarships across the board, including two full rides. I was somewhat of a “non-traditional” applicant. I came from an underrepresented industry, had a gap in work history, and was harboring a very personal and emotional story to tell in my essays that was central to my career goals. Lindsay did a fantastic job listening, understanding, and giving me the confidence to craft a narrative that gave justice to my experiences, rather than view them as shortcomings. She was also an effective project manager. Her gentle nudges and quick prioritization chats were invaluable during the big sprints. I would highly, highly recommend Lindsay to anyone who is feeling unsure about any step of the application process. She knows the space so well and really takes the time to get to know you 1:1, which is why I think she fosters such good results. Above all, she’s just an excellent human being!
I had an outstanding experience working with Lindsay. It was noticeable from our very first call that Lindsay brought a wealth of expertise and knowledge of the MBA admissions process. What truly set Lindsay apart was her flexibility—I changed my application & admissions goals (schools applying to, program type) midway through our engagement and Lindsay did not miss a beat, adapting quickly while offering sound and practical guidance all along the way.
Further, when I was torn on which schools to attend after acceptance, Lindsay went above and beyond by offering pro bono support to help me weigh my options and gain clarity. That level of generosity and commitment truly reflect her dedication to helping you succeed. Her insights were invaluable and ultimately played a significant role in my final decision.
If you’re looking for an admissions consultant who is knowledgeable, pragmatic, and adaptable, I highly recommend!
I am proud to share that Lindsay helped me get my application in tip top shape. I was accepted to 3 of 3 MBA programs I applied to (all of which are consistently ranked in the top 10 lists globally). I had a very specific vision for how I wanted to work with a consultant, and Lindsay perfectly tailored our sessions to how I saw fit for my MBA application journey. She provided me with key insights, tips, and tricks to improve my essays that I could not have found on the internet, friends, or through other counselors. Additionally, I was on a tighter timeline, and Lindsay worked tirelessly to help me get my apps together for Round 1. Highly recommend!
After interviewing several MBA consultants, I selected Lindsay because of how personable, proactive, organized, and intentional she is with her clients. She took the time to get to know me and let that guide the advice she gave me for programs that were a good fit based on my goals and experiences. Despite the fact that I was not confident in my own ability to get into a top school, Lindsay encouraged me to apply to four M7 programs and was a critical reviewer as I wrote essays and short answer responses. I was invited to interview with all four programs I applied to, and ultimately received acceptance letters from three schools – Kellogg (where I received a sizable scholarship), Columbia, and MIT Sloan. The results blew my expectations out of the water – and none of it would have been possible without Lindsay’s support!
When I began the MBA application process, I was unsure whether to hire an admissions consultant. Still skeptical, I scheduled an introductory call with Lindsay. From the start, it was clear she would add value to my application, so I decided to move forward with a comprehensive package. In hindsight, working with Lindsay was a game-changer and led to an outcome that far exceeded my expectations: I was admitted to all five M7 programs I applied to, including HBS and Wharton, and received generous scholarships from two schools. I strongly recommend her to anyone serious about getting into an M7 MBA program.
I came into the application process with good bits and pieces (“bones,” as Lindsay called them). Lindsay helped me turn this amorphous bunch of good ingredients into a compelling application with a coherent narrative arc. From our earliest meetings, she was able to dig the strongest parts of my story, helping me find experiences and achievements that I had overlooked in my initial brainstorming. As we got into the essay-writing process, she helped me build a story that highlighted my strengths and clearly showed how my experiences made me a good candidate for an MBA program and for my subsequent professional goals.
What stood out most was how genuine her support felt. Lindsay was not making me come up with a story that I could sell, but actually guided me through professional “soul searching” to distill and articulate my career goals. Her comprehensive understanding of each program’s unique priorities also allowed me to tailor my applications effectively. Lindsay’s years of experience, both as an AdCom and an admissions consultant, were evident throughout the process.
Lindsay was also exceptionally professional. She kept everything organized, adding much-needed structure to what can feel like an overwhelming process. Her communication was clear, and she was incredibly responsive, often returning drafts within hours. Every aspect of my application—from major components like essays and interviews to smaller elements like short-answer responses—received meticulous attention until it was flawless. As a busy professional with high standards, I found exactly the type of support I needed.
In short, my experience with Lindsay was overwhelmingly positive and far exceeded my expectations. If you’re considering a top MBA program: you only apply once, so it’s worth getting the best support possible for such a consequential process. For me, that support was Lindsay.
Lindsay was absolutely incredible to work with! I feel very lucky that I got to work with her and have already referred several friends to her. Lindsay gave me all of the tools to be successful throughout the MBA application process, prepared me for my interviews, and was always willing to jump on the phone for a quick chat or to give advice. I was admitted to all three schools that I applied to (Stern, CBS, and Wharton) and truly do not think I could have done it without her. Thank you Lindsay!!!!!
Working with Lindsay was truly transformative for my MBA journey. From day one, she was my biggest believer and cheerleader, providing unwavering support while keeping me honest and focused. Lindsay’s timely and thoughtful feedback helped me present my authentic self and made the entire process feel manageable and even enjoyable. Her guidance was instrumental in ensuring that I stayed on track and put my best foot forward at every stage.
Thanks to Lindsay’s expertise and encouragement, I was admitted to three out of the four M7 schools I applied to (waitlisted at 1), including a full-ride scholarship to my top choice—a result I never dreamed was possible. I wouldn’t change a single thing about my MBA journey, and I owe that to Lindsay’s unparalleled guidance and dedication.
Lindsay was really instrumental in my essay writing journey. I needed help with crafting some of my stories and essays and Lindsay came through for me. She made the essay writing portion of the application a breeze for me when I was fully dreading the entire process. I would highly recommend using her in any part of the process.
Lindsay was indispensable to me throughout my MBA application journey. As a former admissions committee member, she is intimately familiar with the MBA application process from end to end, which makes her uniquely well-positioned to set her clients up for success. Specifically, Lindsay’s feedback and insight was crucial to ensuring that my application essays were crafted in a manner that would be compelling from an admissions committee standpoint. In addition, Lindsay did an excellent job of organizing everything I needed to do to complete my applications on time, which allowed me to feel in control throughout the process. Lindsay is also a delightful person who is truly enjoyable to work with. With Lindsay’s guidance, I was accepted to each school I applied to and am thrilled to be attending Columbia Business School this fall!
If I were to apply again, I would try to increase my score, write better essays, have better interviews… But the ONLY thing that I would not even consider changing is Lindsay.
Lindsay set herself apart from the very beginning. My friends who have done an MBA recommended me to a couple of different consultants. During the intro call, her genuine commitment to help her clients and her taking the time to get to know me vs. trying to sell her services set her apart from all of the others I’ve spoken to.
It turned out to be the best decision I made. Lindsay not only provided super professional advice on my application essays, short answers, interviews (I always felt that she was born to do this), but more importantly, a wise friend and mentor who guided me through this emotionally challenging journey.
I eventually got into 3 of 5 schools I applied thanks to Lindsay: MIT ($$$), Wharton, and Booth ($$$).
I would 1000% recommend Lindsay to everyone who is considering an MBA program. Even if you are not even sure about applying, or your friends recommended you to a different consultant, please just take the free intro call with Lindsay. It might be the best decision you make in your MBA journey.
I was introduced to Lindsay through a co-worker who had worked with her for the full time MBA application process the year before. She was extremely effective, organized, and empathetic. Her guidance really helped me through the rigorous process of applying to 6 schools for round 2 while simultaneously studying for the GRE. The results were beyond anything I expected. I was admitted to Stern, Tuck, Johnson, Columbia Business School, and Ross. Additionally, I received scholarship from two of those programs. With Lindsay’s help I was able to make my business school dreams come true, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is going through the MBA application process!
I was introduced to Lindsay through a GMAT prep instructor and took her up on an offer for a free introductory Zoom meeting to discuss my profile and goals.
I had no expectations for the call and wanted to see if her process or approach was any different than what I had seen with other admissions consultants that were more popular/loud in the MBA sphere.
I never expected that our brief call would turn into a nearly 8 month engagement, filled with ups and downs but absolutely transformative in the end.
Thanks to Lindsay I had my choice of multiple M7 admits, and was even awarded generous scholarship funding at the then #1 US News ranked MBA program, which honestly shocked me at the time. If I had listened to the advice of the big name admissions consultant factories (e.g. Admissionado who had advised me to reach and hope for T15 in the absolute best case) I would have sold myself short, never putting myself out there to my dream schools, and I wouldn’t be in the position I am in today.
Lindsay was able to completely transform my candidacy, starting with my goals and story and working through some serious holes and multiple dings in my profile. She is an excellent writer who advised me probably 100+ times on things like phrasing, storylines, and focus. Honestly she made me a better storyteller and helped me to frame my life and nontraditional background in a coherent and powerful way.
Lindsay is also a real human, unlike the people you meet at the big name shops. She doesn’t offer superficial advice just to get you off the call, and she never pressured me to do anything that I wasn’t comfortable with or couldn’t afford. She is caring, kind, patient, and so much more. By the end of your time working with her, you will feel as though she is a part of your family or inner circle because she is always there for you when you need her.
All in all, after gaining admission to my dream school (Columbia) with an academic and professional background as nontraditional as you can get, I can confidently say that Lindsay has changed my life and given me an entirely new career trajectory which I couldn’t have imagined otherwise. If you take anything from this review, just know that Lindsay will be there to push you in exactly the right ways to earn offers from any school you desire – all you need to do is focus and do the work.
Lindsay is absolutely incredible and I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her! I had come to Lindsay feeling discouraged about all aspects of the application process (i.e. were the schools I wanted to go to within reach, was the timeline I had set for myself feasible, etc). Within the first 10 minutes of talking with her, she made everything feel possible and within reach. From beginning to end, she was made the application process feel seamless and doable. Her confidence and knowledge in the process and her unwavering support and positive attitude blew me away! I walked away from the process with offers to all of the schools I applied to (Georgetown (scholarship $ too), UCLA (scholarship $ as well), NYU and Columbia). I am so grateful for her and if there is one thing you do in the application process it would be to work with her! Thank you Lindsay!
I met with a few different admissions consultants trying to find the right match, and as soon as I came away from my consultation call with Lindsay, I knew that I wanted to work with her. Off the bat she was both positive and supportive, which was exactly what I was looking for going into the daunting application process. Where other people made me feel unsure or unconfident about my story and my goals, Lindsay helped me to keep to my true, authentic self throughout the application process, and landed me with 2 M7 admits by the end. I know that my applications would not have been nearly as strong without her help, and truly believe I could not have done it without her. At a tactical level, she helped me work through draft after draft and often turned around comments within a day – I honestly would never have even known she had other clients because she provided me with such a high level of personal, around the clock support.
As a non-traditional candidate, I was looking for someone who could help cut through the noise, see my strengths, and empower me to put together the most authentic application. Lindsay did just that. My favorite quality of Lindsay is that she’s kind but direct and concise. While going through the MBA process, it was important that whoever I worked with took seriously how valuable our time together was and used it efficiently. Further, Lindsay was particularly skilled in navigating difficult conversations about my LGBTQ+ identity. I am so grateful for her, and cannot recommend her enough.
Lindsay came recommended to me from a coworker, who used her services and was accepted to her top choices. Lindsay immediately dove in and helped me to craft a polished application. As somebody who had a lower GPA, I was concerned about my chances of getting into school. Lindsay helped me to increase my confidence and showed me how to tell my unique story. I was accepted into school with a 75% scholarship, and I know that I would not have received that scholarship (and maybe not even the acceptance) if I had not used Lindsay’s services. It more than paid for itself! I cannot recommend Lindsay enough.
When I was applying to B-School in 2023, my HBS friend recommended Lindsay to me as “the hands down best coach ever, at the best possible market price.” I listened to my friend and booked sessions with Lindsay. I AM NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY WORKING WITH LINDSAY WAS A LIFE-CHANGING DECISION. Thanks to Lindsay, I was accepted to both GSB and HBS (the only schools I applied to). Lindsay helped me identify and expand on the gold nuggets in my application, and in retrospect, the difference between my pre-Lindsay essay brainstorms/drafts and my post-Lindsay final submissions is insane. Although my early drafts were passable, they were objectively not HBS/GSB quality, so I 100% have Lindsay to thank for my acceptances.
Every time I meet someone applying to B-School, I tell them the following: 1. Trust me, work with a coach. You can start with a small package and then buy more as needed, but I’ve learned that almost everyone that gets accepted to these programs works with a coach, so it’s realistically a cost you need to embrace if you want to get accepted to these programs. 2. Don’t waste your time evaluating coaches, just use Lindsay Sage. I’ve done a ton of research and can confirm from experience she is amazing to work with and is the best possible value and quality.
Lindsay is an excellent consultant. She is a natural cheerleader, sharp and thorough in her analysis and guidance, and the results speak for themselves.
Beyond being admitted to the #1 Business School in the world. The one thing I am proud of is being accepted for who I truly am, which is an essence Lindsay helped me encapsulate on paper. Lindsay was able to help me demonstrate all my experiences even when the odds were stacked against me with a lower-than-median test score and work experience.
And no, she is not a miracle worker, nor is there a guarantee, but one thing I thought about before getting Lindsay’s service was that this was an investment in myself to give myself the best chance to get into my dream school, so if you can afford it, have a go. I am sure you will get value from her. She has an incredible track record of sending people to some of the best schools in the world and the best fits for them( this is very important).
Plus, Let’s be real she is less expensive than other consultancy companies with similar results 👀
The MBA Application experience is already very stressful, and you want someone in your corner who has the intelligence, background, and industry knowledge to help you achieve your goals. Beyond that, you want someone who has the emotional intelligence to know what you need in each session: encouragement, an extra push, whatever it is. Lindsay has all those traits, and that makes for a killer combination.
I know if you pick Lindsay by the end of your application, you will at least have a sense of peace and comfort in knowing you truly gave it your all, and that’s all we can really do. She supported me beyond the applications into interviews, and now I get to celebrate with her as I just finalized my decisions on where I am going,
I could not recommend Lindsay more highly and she is worth every penny.
Lindsay is a kind and patient person who I could not have gone through this process without. Despite having an average GPA and below average test scores, Lindsay was my cheerleader and always made me feel optimistic about my chances. She was understanding when I was hesitant or had impostor syndrome and always had something positive to say.
When working on my essays, Lindsay provided me with insightful feedback. Her comments were clear and easy to follow, and I felt like we were making progress with every iteration. Lindsay was quick to return written materials and reply via email. When I was struggling with testing Lindsay provided emotional support and alternative suggestions. She is not just there to help edit essays but is truly a partner in this process. Entering in this process somewhat blind and last minute, Lindsay explained how things work and how I could best go about writing my essays and taking my tests.
After receiving interview invites, (including at my M7 reach school), Lindsay was a wealth of information. She knows the players and is able to provide insider knowledge. She helps you craft a clear and concise story and highlight the best parts about yourself. Lindsay also has a wealth of written information available for her clients with advice, deadlines, and guides on schools.
During the application process, I wanted to highlight my LGBTQ advocacy work in the hope of receiving a ROMBA scholarship. Not only did I receive a ROMBA scholarship, but I received the Forte Fellowship as well, totaling $60,000 in awards. I could not have done this without Lindsay. Having been accepted to a full time MBA program was only a dream a few months ago, but Lindsay helped make it possible.
Lindsay was truly a godsend in my MBA admissions journey. She helped me with my essays, applications, and interview prep and I got into my first choice! Her expertise is extremely reassuring throughout this stressful process, and she was really my #1 cheerleader the whole time. She was a joy to work with and I have already recommended her to many others.
I came into this process with a vague ideal of what I wanted to get out of b-school but after my first meeting with Lindsay, she really took the time and patience to help me refine what I wanted to get out of the experience. She has so much knowledge at every step and will help you work through any obstacle, no matter how small, with an incredible amount of professional expertise and experience. I have been accepted to Vanderbilt Owen’s Class of 2026 with a generous scholarship and I highly HIGHLY recommend Lindsay to anyone who is looking for an MBA consultant.
I had originally planned to apply to MBA programs without a consultant, but when I was referred to Lindsay and had an initial phone call with her, I knew right away that she was not only worth every penny, but would go above and beyond to make sure that I had an outstanding application. She gave me the confidence that I had a great application and implored me to think big. Lindsay’s ability to listen and provide detailed advice is second to none. She always made me feel like a priority. Another important aspect of Lindsay is her attention to detail and timeliness. When juggling essays, resumes, and other application materials, Lindsay organized all of it by offering a detailed road map and cleanly edited materials that made following the review process very easy. Her edits provided me with a tremendous essay framework that was tailored specifically for each school I applied to. Lindsay not only gave great, detailed advice, but was always there to listen about any concerns or questions I may have had as well. Once it came time to prep for interviews, Lindsay offered amazing, real-life mock interviews that prepared me exactly for how the real thing went. Without her help during that process, I would not have been prepared to successfully complete my interviews. With Lindsay’s help and guidance, I was admitted to Darden (UVA). Working with Lindsay was an outstanding decision and I never would have been able to get to the point that I am at now without her help. I highly recommend Lindsay for anyone looking for a consultant.
I started exploring my interest in an MBA without a complete understanding of the application process or the schools that best fit my interests. Lindsay walked me through the entire process, from exploring programs to accepting an offer, with an experienced and candid approach. She quickly became more than a consultant to me and became a friend. As a friend, she did an amazing job helping me stay motivated after not scoring as high as I wanted on my first GRE. I ultimately was admitted into every program where I applied and I know Lindsay made it all possible for me.
Lindsay was referred to me by my sister who had all great things to say about her when applying to MBA programs. For me, Lindsay was the best consultant I could ask for hands down! I had one program in mind, Olin, and I did not do any standardized testing. Not only did Lindsay give me the confidence, but she truly knew the ins and outs of the application process and how best to represent myself on paper and in person. With her help and knowledge, I was admitted to Olin and as a bonus was given a large scholarship!!! If you are looking for someone to partner with you on your MBA journey and truly help, then go with Lindsay! Thank you Lindsay for all your help!
I was referred to Lindsay from a friend of mine who had gained admission to several top business schools using Lindsay’s services. Since I was only applying to one MBA program (London Business School), I wanted to make sure that I put forth the best application possible, and Lindsay was a crucial component in making that happen. I hired her for the hourly support option and was treated like any other client. She was always quick to respond with application edits and consistently provided insightful feedback to everything that I submitted to her. Despite having slightly below target stats, with her help I was admitted to my dream school and could not have been happier with her services. She is genuine, supportive and everything you would want in an admissions consultant. She’s worth every dollar!
Lindsay is an absolutely incredible consultant! She has exceptional style and prose in helping with applications, but more importantly, her years of knowledge and experience bring a comfort to all the anxiety that comes with the application process. She anticipates questions and knows exactly what the admission committees are looking for. I applied to only one school and got in thanks to all the help from Lindsay! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Lindsay comes highly recommended by my college friend, who had an exceptional experience working with her for her MBA application. From the moment I connected with Lindsay, it was clear that she was the REAL DEAL. She stood out among the sea of MBA consultants I had encountered through the Forte Program, capturing my attention with her genuine commitment to my success. Lindsay’s unwavering encouragement, support, and expert guidance have played a key role in securing my coveted spot at MIT Sloan MBA full time!!
One of the many qualities that sets Lindsay apart is her remarkable flexibility and thoughtfulness. She meets her clients exactly where they are in their journey, adapting her approach to accommodate their unique circumstances. In my case, various personal and professional developments arose since our initial conversation. Lindsay was there for me every step of the way, displaying exceptional organizational skills, timely responses, and clear expectations. Her meticulous attention to detail is precisely what you need to thrive in this demanding process.
Lindsay’s passion for helping her clients achieve their dreams of attending the best business schools is truly inspiring. She understands the arduous and lengthy nature of the application process and is wholeheartedly committed to your success. Lindsay and I worked together to develop a backup plan—an Executive MBA at a top M7 school in case my full-time option didn’t work out. Her proactive and genuine nature in assisting her clients to discover their ideal fit is what truly stood out to me. When we worked on my essay themes, Lindsay expertly blended personal and professional aspects, ensuring that my essays showcased my true essence.
Lastly, I can confidently say that Lindsay goes above and beyond for her clients. Her dedication and continuous support extend far beyond the business school journey. I have no doubt that our connection will continue long after I’ve been admitted to my dream school. Lindsay is a true champion, committed to your overall success and personal growth.
You won’t be disappointed working with Lindsay!! I would recommend her in a heartbeat!
I was referred to Lindsay through a family friend who had also benefited from Lindsay’s services. I immediately reached out to her and that was a turning point in my application process! She helped review my CV and with essay content. I approached her in round 3 and got an offer from Emory University with a $50,000 scholarship. She is soo empathic, thoughtful, generous with her time, most importantly, she is very good at what she does!
I am thrilled to share my experience working with Lindsay, an MBA admissions consultant who helped me navigate the challenging and competitive application process. With her help, I was admitted to Columbia’s MBA/Executive MS Engineering dual degree program with an $80k scholarship.
Working with Lindsay was an absolute pleasure. The application process can be difficult, but each time I met with her, my stress melted away. Her warm and supportive approach helped me feel more confident and motivated throughout the process.
Lindsay is an expert in her field, and she is incredibly organized. She was able to answer all my questions and provide valuable insights that helped me present my best self in my application. Her editing skills were outstanding. She took my essays from good to great, providing thoughtful feedback and suggestions that helped me frame my ideas more effectively.
I would highly recommend Lindsay as an MBA admissions consultant. I am incredibly grateful for her help and enjoyed working with her.
Working with Lindsay was an incredible experience. She is so knowledgeable and helped me with all the essay content. I was recommended to reach out to her from a previous client and I am so glad I did – working with Lindsay made me less stressed and was the best choice I made in the application process. I was accepted at Ross with a $20k/year scholarship. Highly highly recommend Lindsay!
Lindsay is more than I could have ever asked for in a consultant. She is thoughtful and considers your opinions, while still pushing you out of your comfort zone to reach schools you would have never dreamed you’d be admitted to. During my initial consultation with Lindsay, I told her that I didn’t know if I would get into any M7 schools. This spring I was deciding between all 5 M7 programs I applied to, including Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School (with a full-ride scholarship and merit fellowship), and Chicago Booth (with a partial scholarship). She is more than just a consultant, she is a partner and mentor and truly helps you to reach your potential. I cannot recommend her more highly as a consultant and already miss my weekly conversations with her!
Lindsay was an incredible partner to me! I contacted her in early November and we were able to bang out 6 strong round 2 applications by early January. She calmed my nerves and gave me confidence as we navigated an extremely stressful time. I had more success than I ever expected and I’m thrilled to be attending Kellogg next year with a scholarship!
I really had to think about creating an original headline here because all headlines I initially thought of were taken. Echoing what everyone’s said — Lindsay is the best, my EMBA superhero and cheerleader! She’s so thoughtful, and considerate and goes above and beyond to give you the feedback and guidance you’re looking for — often answering questions you hadn’t thought of asking!
Thanks to her guidance, I got into Columbia’s Executive MBA program. She really helped me nail my essays, set clear goals about what my EA test scores should be, and helped me really understand the EMBA application process, esp for CBS. I would highly recommend working with Lindsay!
Lindsay is truly more than I could have ever asked for in an admissions consultant. She is so so supportive and very thoughtful in her recommendations and guidance.
I applied through the Consortium and was accepted into Columbia Business School with a FULL SCHOLARSHIP, as well as Georgetown!! I also was accepted to NYU Stern’s Fashion & Luxury program with a $40k scholarship.
I never would have imagined I could get accepted into CBS, an M7 school, as it was a definite reach school (in my eyes at least) but Lindsay encouraged me to go for it, and really made me believe I had a chance.
What is unique about Lindsay is the confidence she had in me. I spoke to other consultants, all of who didn’t make me feel particularly confident that I would be able to get into a top school (especially without an amazing test score). Lindsay helped me craft a story that was true to myself and highlighted my strengths and unique experiences.
Everything was very organized throughout the entire process. Within the first few days, I had a schedule that included draft deadlines for my resume/essays, all the application deadlines, etc. She always got back to my emails quickly and was available to talk through anything – whether it be essay brainstorming or scholarship negotiation.
Needless to say, I HIGHLY recommend Lindsay – it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!
Immediately after my initial consultation with Lindsay, I knew she was the right person for me to work with. Not only was Lindsay extremely knowledgeable about the NYC-based programs I was looking to attend, but she encouraged me and gave me the confidence to apply to my dream program at CBS. Even before officially working with Lindsay, she gave me a piece of mind that motivated me to continue pursuing my dream. Lindsay truly cares about you and wants you to succeed. Lindsay worked with me every step of the way and made me feel like I was a family member. Her organization, structure, and attention to detail were a godsend for someone juggling a demanding full-time job and multiple application deadlines. When I needed to run something by her big or small, Lindsay made herself available and took the time to ease my worries and assure me that I was on the right path. She truly listens to your goals and her approach to building your application will give you the confidence to present yourself to any admissions committee. While working with Lindsay on my applications to CBS, Stern, and Gabelli I felt extremely confident creating my story, crafting my essays, and prepping for my interviews. Lindsay was my cheerleader and my biggest support system every step of the way. Without Lindsay, there is no way I would be writing this now as someone accepted to CBS. I am forever grateful to Lindsay for her expertise, compassion, and her overall outstanding attitude toward helping me make my dreams a reality!
Within a month, I must choose whether to attend NYU Stern, Berkeley Haas, or UCLA Anderson for my MBA. I was also fortunate enough to receive an $80k scholarship from Anderson.
I am in this position because of Lindsay. When I started preparing for the MBA application process I was very stressed because my work experience profile was not as strong as that of other candidates – and this had me convinced that I had close to zero chances of getting into the b-schools I mentioned above. I questioned whether I should even bother applying. I even had an initial call with one other big MBA admission consulting company that discouraged me from applying to Haas and Stern.
Lindsay alleviated the concerns I had, encouraged me to focus on the strong points of my profile, and filled me with confidence. In Lindsay, you will get someone that knows the application process and the points each b-school is looking for inside and out, as well as someone who is super easy to work with to guide you through this difficult process.
Personally, I chose Lindsay because from our initial call, she made me feel that I wasn’t just ”another candidate” for her, she really spent time to understand what would make me happy and she was sincere. Lindsay is incredible and I was lucky to have worked with her. Don’t hesitate to choose her to be your consultant – your decision will pay dividends within a few months.
While Lindsay would call herself an admissions consultant, I’d also refer to her as a motivator, coach, and friend. With Lindsay’s support, I was accepted to HBS, Wharton, and Kellogg (with a scholarship). Lindsay is the consultant who eases your worries, while simultaneously giving you honest feedback to ensure your applications are the best they can be. Lindsay takes the time to really get to know you outside of your resume, which allows her to give extremely thoughtful feedback on your essays. I cannot recommend Lindsay enough. While I am SO happy the application process is complete, I will say I already miss connecting with Lindsay. I recommend her 110%
I cannot recommend Lindsay highly enough. Everyone knows that the application process will have its ups and downs and moments when you want to give up (circa version 40 of my HBS essay), but Lindsay’s calm, positive and tenacious demeanor helped me push through. In addition, she made herself readily available at odd times of the day to accommodate my busy schedule and was always precise with her hourly billing to be mindful of my budget.
I was ultimately accepted to my top choice program (HBS), and I believe Lindsay’s support was fundamental to this accomplishment (from initial essay ideation to preparing for my interviews). If you’re considering working with Lindsay, I encourage you to take the leap – you will not regret it.
I was recommended to Lindsay by a friend and am so thankful that I went with her. She is extremely caring and perceptive. She really took the time to listen to my goals and carve out a strategic plan for me. I got into my top choice, CBS, which was something I never thought I could achieve. I had a very short timeline to work with and an extremely busy workload, but she gave me so much confidence throughout the application process. I felt reassured every step of the way, from resume reviews, recommendation letters, and essays to interview prep. She is very responsive and I could always reach out to her for feedback and questions. Her guidance on essays was always on point; she really helped me tighten my story and bring out the best in me. Highly recommend working with Lindsay for anyone wanting to apply to MBA programs.
I had the pleasure of being introduced to Lindsay about a year ago. A mutual friend had used her during her admission process, and Lindsay came highly recommended.
After our initial consultation, I knew Lindsay was the consultant for me. What I didn’t know at the time was how much more than that she would become.
I started applying for my MBA about three years prior; however, I never had a clear direction of where I wanted to go and my true “why.” Lindsay guided me through this process more like a best friend/ life coach would. She asked me questions that forced me to think of things differently, challenged me to question my true intentions behind my pursuits, and was there along the way to help me figure it out. I would often say to friends she is more of a life coach quality vs. someone who is just telling you to get a great GMAT score (even though that is, of course, important too)! She truly helped me figure out why I was applying for my MBA and how my past and future contribute to that “why” as well. I believe that the deep level of critical reflection Lindsay guided me through shined in my essays and is one of the core reasons I was accepted and will attend Columbia University.
I can say I am honestly lucky to know Lindsay but even more blessed to have had the pleasure of working with her. She is a truly amazing individual and an incredible MBA consultant, and I could not recommend her more highly.
Upon starting my search for an MBA admission consultant, I was recommended four different people, one of which was Lindsay. From my first call with Lindsay, I immediately felt her care and passion for the people she works with. It was a very exciting journey preparing to get into a top MBA programme but it was all possible with Linsday’s meticulous planning and unparalleled support.
Duke Fuqua and NYU Stern were both my top choices and I got into BOTH (and another T15 and one T20 school) thanks to Lindsay! I had 5-10 intro calls with other admission consultants before I had one intro call with Lindsay and instantly clicked with her and loved her approach to MBA applications. She’s a very deep listener and truly understood my motivations for an MBA. She made me feel very comfortable in every step of my application/essay writing process – she made sure that I stayed authentic to my motivations and goals for an MBA. Whenever I needed her guidance, she would instantly make time for me and help me out with pressing questions. Because Lindsay had worked in admissions at Columbia and NYU, she was able to give me great insights into the admissions process that helped me with my applications. I highly recommend working with her; she really made me feel like a priority and I genuinely felt like she cared about my success.
I am so glad and lucky that I found Lindsay. I was working with another agent in China before and they were a total rip-off. My deadlines were approaching and I was not happy at all with my essays. Luckily, a friend of mine recommended Lindsay to me. We had an extremely tight turnaround, but Lindsay has made the almost impossible possible. With her help, I got accepted to my dream program IESE applying in R4. Lindsay really helped bring out the theme/storyline of my essays and provide my application materials with a better structure and focus. I really enjoyed working with her and cannot recommend her more!
Working with Lindsay was great! Looking at where my applications started to where she helped me take them, there’s no question her that recommendations and help were key to creating successful applications – She helped me get into Yale SOM, Rotman, and UCLA with scholarships. For me, she was great at helping me hone in and focus on the messages I was trying to convey so that my essays were clear and direct. She provides a ton of flexibility with her time, and I really appreciated having the ability to ask her about any part of an application – from building a proper resume, reviewing essays, adding relevant additional information, etc. She is great at tracking time too, making sure applicants get full value for her time. On top of all that, she was lovely and encouraging to work with, especially during what can be a very stressful time.
Before I was introduced to Lindsay and Sage Admit via the Forte MBA Launch program I had connected with three other consulting firms. While each firm I connected with had the stats, none put me at ease like Lindsay did! Within the first five meetings of speaking, I knew that she understood who I was and what goals I had for applying to MBA programs. She never made me feel judged for my nontraditional (older) background and was genuinely excited for every part of the application journey. We immediately aligned on the right approach for my essays, short answers, and resume, and she quickly shared on-point feedback along the way to keep me on track for applications. She also helped me with a mock interview which I think gave me a masterful edge.
I got accepted to both programs I applied to—Tepper and NYU—and I couldn’t have done that (along with scoring a scholarship) without Lindsay’s support and knowledgeable guidance. Sure, you could go through the admissions process scrambling, stressed, and alone, but with someone like Lindsay by your side you have a coach in your corner who can get you there with clear guidance and minimal stress!
Lindsay assisted me in getting into all four programs that I applied to: Northeastern ($60k scholarship), DePaul ($4500 scholarship), CU Denver ($5000 scholarship), and Loyola Chicago. She guided me through every single step of the process, including deciding what schools to apply to, resume rehabilitation, essays, application details, interviews, career coaching, and recommendation letters, and even helped me decide which school to pick at the end (and so much more)! I was so pleased working with her, and since we had worked in such a short amount of time (quick deadlines), I was very impressed with her ability to help me through the process so hastily, with admittance to all schools for which I applied. I highly recommend working with her as she knows exactly what schools are looking for in an application.
I highly recommend Lindsay to anyone that is applying to an MBA program it’s well worth the investment. As someone lacking a strong GPA and being an older applicant, I had concerns about my candidacy for a top 20 MBA program. Lindsay was able to relieve these concerns by taking a holistic approach to my candidacy. She was able to find areas that would help make me stand out to the admissions committee. Her insights into the different MBA schools were invaluable in helping me tailor my application to each school. She brought a natural enthusiasm and upbeat attitude to each of our meetings and responded promptly to my questions. Her true strength lies in the ability to instill confidence during the application process but also push you to produce your best work. This led me to receive multiple offers such as Georgetown McDonough with scholarship offers at Texas McCombs, Washington Foster, and Vanderbilt Owen. I know without Lindsay’s help, I would not be attending an MBA program. I highly recommend her services.
Lindsay was such an amazing supporter throughout the MBA application process (it was essentially my entire life in 2021)! For me, the place I needed help the most was in essay and resume reviews. She was always quick to respond to my questions and my essay drafts. What I found most incredible about her is that even though we had not talked in depth about my goals or my story (not as much as someone would’ve talked to her if they had been using her comprehensive packages), she knew where to direct my essays and craft my story even further. And while she was the best encourager, she also was able to give me sharp and poignant advice on how to strengthen my story.
I had been feeling a bit uneasy about my profile overall (Asian American woman, good undergrad GPA but in the Social Sciences, good GMAT score but lower than the average for the T15 schools, and work experience not in the field I want to go into post-MBA). But she knew what to downplay versus highlight. Additionally, she gave me confidence that I can go after what I want to do. Going through the MBA application process can be long and brutal, and it can really take a toll on your confidence and mental health. Having Lindsay cheering me on sincerely and genuinely really helped to ground me and make me believe in myself more.
Ultimately, I was accepted to Wharton/Lauder, Stern, McDonough, and Goizueta, all with scholarships! For Stern, I was awarded a Faculty Scholarship, which was an incredible and pleasant surprise. I know I could not have gotten this far without Lindsay’s help.
And when I had to make the decision on which school to attend, she guided me in making the right decision for me. It’s not just all about the rankings or prestige, it’s really about what you feel is the right program for you. I was grateful for her listening to me and making me feel comfortable in my decision.
I would recommend her wholeheartedly and will be forever grateful for the time I spent with her!
I was admitted to HBS (!!!) & Lindsay was the ABSOLUTE BEST person I could have asked for on this long journey. Throughout the process, I had crushing doubts about my low undergrad GPA & my chances at admission. Lindsay knew exactly how to lift my spirits & motivate me – telling me that “there is no room for doubt” and wholeheartedly believing in me. Before our sessions, I would be down because of the seemingly impossible task at hand, but immediately after our sessions, she was able to get me so fired up at the chance to tell my story. She was also so amazing at giving tactical guidance when it came to crafting my story: each piece of advice she provided was prompt, clear, truly pushed me to find my “why,” and was given in a manner that motivated me even more. Lindsay is able to create a high level of trust in a short time because she is able to ask you the right questions at the right time (especially about vulnerable topics) and has a deep understanding of the MBA process. The last thing I’ll say is she is such a kind and patient person who is so lovely to interact with!!!
I gained admission to Yale SOM Asset Management, my top choice program, in addition to offers at other top Finance and Business Analytics programs. After nearly a year of working with Lindsay, I can confidently state that she is incredible to work with. I cannot imagine how I would have made it through this long and stressful application cycle without her help. Her professional guidance and cheerful personality caught me in our first call, and I was convinced that she would be the right person to work with for the next year. She was very attentive, provided excellent essay ideas/feedback, and promptly answered all of my questions. During the application process, there are many steps to be taken. Lindsay helped me complete them in a systematic manner. She was extremely organized, made regular phone calls to check in, and assigned a reasonable number of tasks each week. She was also incredibly supportive. It’s easy to fall prey to self-doubt during the application process, and Lindsay is the one that always believes in me and gives me confidence. I strongly recommend you to work with her. It will be a great experience! She is amazing!!
I really enjoyed working with Lindsay. She was really professional, knew how to navigate the process, and knew how to pull my unique story out of me to present to the school I was applying. I applied only to one school, MIT Sloan Fellows, and I was battling a low undergrad GPA with my application. After my first meeting with Lindsay, she gave me the confidence that this is not a show stopper. Her advice throughout this journey was fantastic. I am not sure I would’ve been able to get through this process without her. She gave me the confidence that I could be admitted to MIT and not only did I get accepted but I was also granted a Dean’s Fellowship. Working with Lindsay was an investment in my future and it was worth every penny!
I highly recommend Lindsay! A little bit about myself, I come from one of the most competitive demographics (Chinese, came to the US for college and now working for Big4), and my work experience is also on the lighter side. I had a lot of self-doubt throughout the application process, but I am very happy with the results: I was admitted to Stern, UCLA and Darden with scholarships.
I decided to work with Lindsay initially because she had experience working in admission at Stern, one of my top choice programs. She has been on both sides of the table, and has seen a large volume of applications throughout her time at Stern. I’m very thankful that I chose Lindsay – she is extremely knowledgeable about the MBA programs (not just Stern, but all programs) and the application process, and always pushes you to be the best version of yourself.
I worked with Lindsay on three schools. Lindsay guided me through each and every step of the application process, from selecting schools, putting together application strategies to essays and interviews, and making the final decision. For me, on top of all the work of putting together the application materials, one of the most difficult things about this whole process is that it is very mentally stressful. Lindsay was like a mentor for me throughout the process. She found a good balance of keeping me feeling motivated and confident, but also making sure she’s giving me direct and candid feedback.
I would highly recommend Lindsay to anyone thinking about applying to MBA programs – she’s truly the best!
Lindsay is just the person you need if you want an admit from your dream school. I was initially referred to Lindsay when I decided to apply to business schools for an executive program. On our first call, Lindsay came across as a very calm, composed, and warm-natured person, which was so comforting. She went over all the details about the application process, scores each of the schools need, and other details which were school specific. She provides a ton of information which was very helpful for me to focus and work towards my goal. Lindsay was more like a mentor who always brought out the best in me. She would pump up my confidence levels, which was much needed to keep pushing towards my application deadlines and submit my best application. Lindsay is extremely organized; she would set weekly goals which made it easier to not lose track. The entire process was mentally taxing, yet Lindsay was always available to guide me through the process and was extremely accommodating. With Lindsay’s help, I was able to get into Wharton with scholarship and Berkeley Haas. I honestly wouldn’t be able to get into my dream schools if it wasn’t for Lindsay. Her support and guidance were invaluable throughout the application process. I would recommend Lindsay to anyone who wants to aim for top schools. Lindsay is such a Rockstar. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.
I highly recommend Lindsay to any candidate who thinks they might not have a chance at M7 schools. She has a real talent for “connecting the dots” on your application, as well as helping “difficult” (or non-traditional) candidates. When I reached out to different consultants to see which one I’d go with, I was constantly recommended to apply for the “older” programs (like EMBA ones, or the mid-career one year ones) because I’ve had 9-10 years of industry experience already. However, I wanted a fully immersive one with a summer internship built in. I was told that I’ll never have a shot at any of the M7s by other consultants, and that I’d better apply for the older ones. One consultant told me that I should be looking at Top 20 schools instead. However, when Lindsay and I spoke, I immediately felt that I could trust her with my applications. I initially just purchased 2 schools with her, but added another one later on because she was such a delight—and insightful—consultant to work with! On top of that, the entire process is so mentally excruciating, and Lindsay’s warm and empathetic nature really comes through. I think empathy is something that I personally really value, and not everybody in the field has it, so it’s especially important for me. I’m definitely the kind of person who needs to work with a consultant who believes in me and my application—having confidence in yourself is important because that part also really shows through in your interviews.
One thing that really amazed me was how accurately Lindsay was able to call which schools I’d get an interview from. During our informational call, based on just my stats and brief self intro alone, she told me she thinks that I’d be likely to get at least an interview from Wharton and CBS, and that’s exactly what happened. (I didn’t apply to that many schools, by the way, not even “back up”s.) Of course, this is purely anecdotal for my case, and by no means am I implying that she is a soothsayer (LOL—I don’t mean to put pressure on you Lindsay!), but I was very amazed by this fact.
And of course, stating the obvious, results matter. I got into both CBS and Wharton and even got a six digit merit fellowship from Wharton!
I’m also Asian American (Chinese), and currently working in finance- a very over-represented demographic at/who applies to business schools.
I couldn’t recommend Lindsay enough! I worked with her on 5 schools through the comprehensive support package. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the MBA application & admissions processes and very accessible and responsive throughout. She brings a positive, enthusiastic attitude to every meeting and really pushes you to think deeply and produce your best work. I could feel that Lindsay was genuinely invested in my personal MBA journey.
She provided invaluable support, guidance, and prompt feedback throughout every stage of the application process: from creating a robust timeline, helping me to select my list of schools based on my goals, probing me with thoughtful questions to help draft my personal narrative and essay prompts, helping me to refine my essays, and preparing for interviews.
With Lindsay’s help, I was admitted to Kellogg, Haas, Darden, and Stern with scholarships and invited to interview with CBS (I ended up withdrawing). The MBA application process can be stressful and overwhelming, but Lindsay made me feel motivated, confident and prepared every step of the way. I don’t think I would have gotten these results without Lindsay’s guidance and I definitely wouldn’t have had such a positive experience. Lindsay is such a gem!!
My time with Lindsay was excellent. She was realistic about what schools I had a solid chance at while boosting my confidence at the same. She was incredibly flexible with her price point by developing a strategy that could fit my small budget and still make me feel like I was getting the good end of the deal. With her concise yet incredibly game-changing help, I was able to get into my dream school.
I worked with Lindsay on three schools’ applications on an hourly basis. What I appreciate the most from working with Lindsay is that she truly encouraged me to show characters and passion in my applications, which connected me with people reading my stories. I ended up earning a full ride to Stern’s full-time MBA program, in addition to an interview with MIT Sloan.
I believe we each have our own voice that speaks true to our unique personal qualities and distinguishes us from others. With Lindsay’s advice, I was able to take advantage of each section of the application to communicate my stories fully and authentically. Lindsay does not give cookie-cutter advice.
Additionally, Lindsay is efficient in communicating feedback. She has high energy and is very encouraging. She went above and beyond in helping me put my best foot forward while staying within my budget.
Overall, I would highly recommend working with Lindsay!
I worked with Lindsay for a few months during the 2021 Round 1 MBA admissions cycle. She provided a wealth of knowledge about the application process and how to stand out and be successful in the process for M7 schools. She worked with me to create a strategy for both selecting schools to apply to in Round 1, and for creating a strategic and tailored application approach for each individual school. Throughout the process, she would respond extremely quickly to both my one-off questions and to my requests for more detailed essay reviews. What I loved most about working with Lindsay is that she really pushed me to bring my authentic self to my applications, and provided a lot of thought-provoking questions for me to consider when answering some of the deeper essay questions. With her guidance and mentorship, I was able to gain admission to two M7 programs. I could not recommend her enough!
Lindsay has this peculiar gift of instantly uncovering the unique abilities of a candidate and serving them up on a platter of gold. During my journey to get into Stern EMBA, she extended grace to me that left me with a different lens on what I bring to the table that has skyrocketed my confidence. Thank you. She is not looking for a cookie-cutter candidate, instead a player that is both authentic and willing. She is highly organized and has a thoughtful approach — which resulted in me confidently submitting my application two weeks ahead of schedule. She is a great thought partner that is readily accessible to roll up her sleeves and helps you think deep. She pushed me…hard…on my ‘why,’ which resulted in not only a plan for my life today but over the next few years. And I believe that our exercises of clarity translated well on the application to yield an admit decision. Do not go on this journey without a guide, and the only guide worthwhile is Lindsay. Trust me, if you want to measure twice and cut once – Lindsay is your guide.
I worked with Lindsay for one MBA application using her comprehensive support package and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She was extremely responsive, patient, and kind throughout the process. She was such a pleasure to work with because it was evident that she genuinely cared – she really took the time to learn about me in detail which enabled me to refine my goals and craft the best essays possible. She also provided useful insights regarding waitlist strategy and interview prep. Lastly, she was an invaluable support system as I anxiously awaited a decision. I definitely wouldn’t have been admitted to my top choice school without her guidance.
