A former Dean of MBA Admissions on a mission to connect MBA hopefuls with the MBA programs they dream of.
The candidates I have worked with appreciate my deep knowledge of the MBA Admissions process as a former head of an MBA adcom.
My own MBA journey started as an eager GMAT test taker and MBA candidate ready to take on the test and then the world. As an MBA student, I dreamed of entrepreneurship and leading an enterprise.
A few years later, I became Dean of MBA Admissions at my alma mater Babson College, where my team worked with MBA candidates from every part of the world on their road to business school.
Later, I joined EAB, the world’s leading enrollment marketing firm, as principal and consultant. I helped build a service for graduate schools and spent my days speaking with Deans and Admissions Directors.
Fast forward again, and in 2019, I became Managing Director of The MBA Tour, a subsidiary of the Graduate Management Admissions Council. There, my team connected thousands of candidates with top business schools around the globe. I have worked with every top 100 school. In 2019 alone, I traveled to 40 cities on 4 continents to facilitate the schools’ connection to prospective MBA students.
Now, I’ve created a unique consulting service that helps MBA candidates find and walk the path they feel they’re meant to through focused conversations, individualized feedback, and actionable advice.
My MBA Path is a proud company of one, by design. Every candidate who purchases My MBA Path services will work directly with me. None of the work I do is outsourced to junior consultants.
If you know your substance but you struggle to weave it into a story, we should speak. If your “Why” is strong but the “How” is tricky, let’s talk.
The candidates I have guided through the application process have landed at every top school – HBS, Stanford, Wharton, MIT, Columbia, Kellogg, Booth, Haas, Darden, and Duke to name just a few. As a recent happy HBS admit put it, “Petia is what any true MBA consultant should be – not just an advisor or a counselor, but also a true champion on your application journey. Her deep knowledge of the admissions process and thoroughness when working on your materials are matched only by her enthusiasm and her genuine interest in seeing you succeed. It was a pleasure working with her, and my application benefited tremendously from her insights.”
Do you need a chief strategist and champion at every step of the way? The comprehensive “Nose-to-tail” service will unsure you are guided by actual former MBA adcom insights at every fork in the road.
Have a difficult application challenge? Need an emergency interview prep? A mini ding or waitlist assessment? Not sure how competitive you are? Not certain where to start? Having trouble articulating your story? My hourly service, “Get Unstuck”, is a value-packed, purpose-driven hour of time with a former Dean of MBA Admissions at $395 an hour. Bring any one thing you want to work on and get exceptional individualized support almost immediately.
Candidates also love my “Tune Up” service, which gives them a 3-hour package for only $990. For the self-propelled MBA hopefuls out there who can do the work independently but want to make sure they put their best foot forward, this small package provides unparalleled value.

Petia brings in a world of wisdom thanks to her experience as dean of admissions. She is empathetic yet candid with her feedback, which really helped me course-correct on my journey. There’s not a single problem for which she doesn’t have solutions. The MBA ABC is underrated. I really enjoyed my group sessions where I got feedback and ideas from my peers. It’s extremely economical and provides all the features a traditional consulting package would offer.
Petia is an expert in her field and very creative. Every session I had with her, I came with specific questions and areas where I wanted to improve in my essays and she was able to help me plow through my writer’s block and think through different ways to strengthen my application. She also does great mock interviews and I felt confident and prepared for my actual interviews after working with her. I looked forward to every session that I had with Petia because I felt like she really cared about my success and outcomes. Despite her busy schedule, she made herself available to field last minute reviews and advice.
Her track record of her applicants getting into M7s speaks for itself. I highly recommend Petia!
[accepted to MIT Sloan, Kellogg, and Booth]: I worked with 2 admissions consultants throughout the deferred MBA process (one from Leland), which made it clear how truly amazing Petia is. She makes it so clear from day one that she truly cares about you – she takes time to get to know you, is always quick to respond to last minute inquiries about essay feedback / anything else that comes up, and holds an extensive amount of school-specific knowledge that other coaches don’t from her tenure in Admissions consulting. I always looked forward to our meetings. Highly recommend working with her if you get the chance to!
From start to finish, Petia’s guidance during her MBA Application Boost Camp was invaluable. The program was not only informative but also engaging, providing helpful insights into the application process. I also really appreciated the weekly check-ins, where I had an opportunity to ask questions alongside others going through the same MBA application journey. Being part of this community was really motivating and I always was grateful for Petia’s expertise and personalized recommendations to my questions. She also gave really strong feedback to my resume and essay for schools. I couldn’t have navigated this process without Petia! Highly recommend their services to anyone seeking expert guidance and a supportive community!
I met with many consultants when I began my MBA application journey and Petia immediately stood out with her experience, knowledge, and warmth. Due to her decade plus of MBA-admissions experience, she is on top of everything when it comes to the entire admissions process, refining every detail of your application to position you for success. But, if there is anything you need help with outside your application (e.g. GMAT Tutoring) she also has a slew of excellent recommendations to give. Not only is she great at her job, she’s a wonderful empathetic and kind person. The whole MBA admissions process can be emotionally draining and Petia is always there to help you through it. As someone who came from an unconventional background, I felt as I had a slim shot of getting into an MBA program, but with Petia’s help I managed to interview and be accepted to a majority of schools I applied too. I’m currently heading to a T15 and I couldn’t be happier.
I was compelled to work with Petia after reading her weekly newsletter by chance the April before the upcoming MBA cycle. I joined the MBA Application Boost Camp Community (MBA ABC) and I’m so glad I did as it was an invaluable experience that led me to receive multiple school acceptances and scholarship offers. Her knowledge as a former MBA adcom head is unparalleled, but more than that, she is a wonderful person. Even in a group setting, she takes the time to know you personally, helps you identify your goals and develop your MBA story, and provides guidance and advice in a straightforward, constructive manner. I also worked with another reputable consultant service 1:1 during my MBA journey, and I can honestly say that it was nowhere near Petia’s support. The MBA ABC Community she created is amazing (and affordable!) and I wholeheartedly recommend working with her.
Petia was not just a consultant, she was a transformative force throughout my MBA interview journey. Her guidance was more than just professional expertise; it was a beacon of validation, empowerment, and unwavering belief in my potential. Petia didn’t just help me cross the finish line; she instilled in me a newfound confidence and drive that was truly life-changing. I was so happy with her dedication and support, and without hesitation, I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone considering an MBA consultant! She helped me nail my interviews with confidence and navigate the negotiation process, and I’m so grateful to be attending Columbia Business School this fall!
Petia is absolutely amazing and I credit her with my Wharton admit. She was instrumental in helping me develop my story in a strategic and authentic way. I am a reapplicant and last year, I did not even get to the interview stage. So I know that execution was, for me, everything. She was extremely generous with her time and advice and I recommend her wholeheartedly.
I first met Petia through a brief 15-minute Zoom call, but it was clear from the start that she would be a uniquely encouraging and supportive MBA admissions consultant. As someone with only a year of post-undergraduate work experience at the time of my application, the MBA journey felt daunting. However, Petia’s guidance helped me highlight my strengths in a way that allowed me to stand out to admissions committees.
From selecting schools to crafting compelling essays to prepping for interviews, Petia rigorously prepared me for each step of the MBA application process. What impressed me most was her unwavering belief in my potential. Petia actively encouraged me to apply to programs that I had previously deemed out of reach, including the 2Y MBA program at Kellogg.
With Petia’s expert support, I was ultimately admitted to Kellogg – a dream come true. I am immensely grateful for Petia’s encouragement and the detailed, personalized assistance she provided throughout my MBA journey. Her commitment to helping me succeed was unparalleled, and I don’t know if I would have achieved this outcome without her guidance.
Where to even begin! Working a full time job and knowing just how rigorous and expensive the MBA process was, I decided early on that I would save up to work with a consultant end to end. As luck would have it, I was referred to Petia by another consultancy and we instantly clicked on a call. One immediate difference compared to a few other folks I had chatted with and even interacted with in part of Forté’s MBA Launch program was how warm and personable Petia was. Others felt too transactional or too spread across multiple different candidates but Petia was a breath of fresh air. Given how early in the process I reached out to Petia (~1 year out from applying), I really got to know her and benefit from her wealth of knowledge, particularly that of the European schools that I was applying to. Beyond providing me with frameworks and tools that would accomplish the ‘what’ we were doing in my applications and interviews, Petia brought an incredibly supportive and reassuring energy that made it easy for me to find and articulate my ‘why’. Her presence and guidance made me feel, even in the throws of studying, that I was already across the finish line in whatever my best possible future could be. In my case, it was my top choice program and several others. I could not imagine having gone through the process without her and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone on their MBA journey.
If I could give Petia a six-star rating, I would not hesitate. After an initial round of business school applications guided by a renowned consultant that led to no interview invitations, despite being positioned for the M7, I was at a loss. Not even the schools considered lower in rank extended an offer. Then, right as round two deadlines, I was introduced to Petia, and it turned out to be the highlight of my application journey. She immediately identified the weaknesses in my previous applications and offered incredibly valuable and sincere advice. I chose to work with her without delay.
Together, we tackled applications for five schools (1 dream school, 1 reapply, and 3 top 10s). Petia went above and beyond to ensure I met every deadline. She equipped me with the skills to write authentic essays and effectively engage with Admissions Committees. Petia thoroughly examined my strengths, weaknesses, and the unique aspects of my story, taking meticulous care to refine each detail that could potentially undermine my applications.
Ultimately, I received one offer (my top 1 choice) and was placed on two waitlists. Petia’s support didn’t stop there; she is actively assisting me in advancing from the waitlists. I am profoundly thankful for her guidance. The investment in her services was utterly worthwhile.
With Petia’s help I am headed to Wharton! Throughout the journey she has been extremely insightful, supportive, and caring.
Petia went above and beyond helping me to craft my essays, spending hours guiding me through a journey of self reflection. And everything from resume editing to interview prep, she always made made sure I was comfortable with every decision we made before moving forward and made herself available to address any additional concerns.
I was also in a difficult position where I was laid off shortly before I began working with her. Her knowledge was invaluable in addressing this in my application and in my decision to involve myself in specific volunteer work.
I highly highly recommend working with Petia and believe her knowledge truly made a large impact on my outcome!
I had an amazing experience working with Petia, and I am extremely grateful for her guidance throughout the process. Coming from a non-traditional background, I had many doubts and anxieties about applying to an MBA program. However, Petia helped me decide which of my experiences to highlight and how to effectively communicate my story during the interviews. Thanks to her candid approach and expert assistance, I was able to frame my accomplishments and experiences in a way that demonstrated significant progress in my professional journey. Due to my other commitments, I could only apply to three programs, and I was accepted into two out of the three with one offer for a full tuition scholarship. I am incredibly grateful for Petia and her support, which I believe helped me get accepted and awarded a scholarship.
Petia is a tremendous resource for anyone in need of support in crafting a compelling narrative for their MBA application. Her prices are incredible for the level of support and focus she provides!
I had written off my odds of getting into my dream program, but Petia’s expertise provided context to make what once was a pipe dream, now into a reality. I got into my choice program because of her help with my application. I have nothing but good things to say and will recommend everyone explore her offerings.
Petia reached out to ask about my application outcomes, even those outside of the programs we worked on together. She’s been a huge supporter along the way and provided context and guidance in decision-making between programs. As someone without a ton of peers who have attended these top programs, Petia was an incredible resource and is helping to alter my career trajectory in the best way.
I cannot speak highly enough about Petia’s value to the MBA Admissions Process. I hired Petia not because I felt overwhelmed by the process but instead because I had my sights set very high, applying to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, GSB, and Haas. I had done a ton of research and knew that hiring a coach would help me submit the best application possible and bring acceptance into these schools into reach.
Petia brought tremendous experience and energy (your consultant needs both!), helping to push my preparation and writing to the next level. She helped me take solid first drafts and turn them into insightful and impactful stories.
My results speak for themselves: 3 acceptances to top programs (t15 and M7), including a full scholarship. I have already recommended over 5 friends to Petia and will continue to do so. She will make a serious difference in your MBA admissions process if you’re aiming for top programs!
I met Petia towards the end of July, 2023 when our 15-minute free consultation naturally transpired into an hour long session. This already set her apart from other consultants who didn’t care as much to go above and beyond. And this was consistent throughout my application journey. Above and beyond.
I hadn’t even started my applications and all I had was a test score when I talked to her. Sprinting towards a R1 deadline in early September, she helped me brainstorm by asking thoughtful questions that allowed me to introspect deeply and craft a coherent narrative that tied all of my upbringing, accomplishments and career vision together. She was always happy to hop on a call and answered late night texts. She’ll do anything to help guide you along this journey whether that’s career advice, interview prepping or just about life!
I am grateful to have worked with Petia on this journey. I resonate with everyone else’s reviews on P&Q and the list goes on. I can confidently say that anyone who’s worked with Petia will agree when I say this: she is more than just an admissions consultant – she is a true friend and your personal cheerleader!
P.S. I received an offer from Wharton (applied to HSW)
I started working on my applications with Petia in the spring of 2023 to prepare for round 1 deadlines. Working with Petia was a great decision for me. I did not have a strong network of people who had been through this MBA application process, and I knew I needed someone who could help dispel any MBA application myths, keep me accountable during the process, and provide expert feedback. Petia’s ability to break down the application process into workable and achievable steps made what could be an otherwise painful process very approachable. She was incredibly patient as I waffled for a few weeks about whether MBA was the right path for me. She answered questions without judgement, listened to my concerns, and asked me the right questions so that I could reach clarity in my decisions. I dreaded the essay writing portion the most, but through our weekly conversations and Petia’s encouraging approach I was able to proudly submit compelling essays to some of the top MBA programs.
I am grateful to have worked with Petia during this process and I would recommend her to others who are serious about their applications to business school and willing to put in the work. You will be proud of your final submissions and have the satisfaction of knowing that you put forth your absolute best applications.
I worked with Petia from Fall 2022 to Spring 2023. We worked together extensively for HBS and Wharton, and she helped me with essay reviews and interview prep for Kellogg and Haas as well. At the end of the season, I received offers from HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, Berkeley Haas, Duke Fuqua, and UCLA Anderson.
I had worked with a different consultant before meeting Petia, and hence my resume was already complete by the time we started. As a result, Petia and I spent most of our time brainstorming essays, reviewing drafts, and preparing for interviews. Therefore, my review will focus solely on these components of her coaching program.
For me, Petia’s biggest strengths were her ability to listen, to boost my confidence, and to create space for me to freely develop my narrative while incorporating her feedback. For instance, when we started working together, we spent several hours recounting my life, interests, goals, and accomplishments, during which Petia managed to both take extensive notes and ask probing questions on the points she found most compelling. Throughout our time working together, Petia referenced these concepts without needing to look through her notes – she had clearly internalized my story. Many of the points she identified as compelling during these initial interviews ended up in my final essays.
When I wrote my essays, Petia was excellent at facilitating “unconstrained” brainstorming first, and then helping me sharpen my focus and language over time. When reviewing essays, we always discussed our drafts together, jointly deciding what kind of tweaks would best serve the story I wanted to tell. At no point did Petia suggest changes that altered my intended meaning, and I truly appreciated her ability to provide feedback – which she always explained in detail – that crystalized my story without trying to force a specific narrative or message into the essay.
I also think Petia’s commitment to helping her clients is unmatched. I know that consultants have to toe a fine line between managing candidates’ expectations and helping them put their best foot forward – but Petia made it look easier than many other consultants I spoke with, worked with, or observed my friends working with. Her experiences as a Dean of Admissions, and an evident familiarity with the admissions philosophy (and in some cases, even the admissions staff) of the top business schools, enabled her to provide clear and grounded advice about these schools without creating unnecessary anxiety about my ability to get in. At no point in our relationship did Petia even imply that her help was essential for me to get into a good school – and this positive approach set the foundation for a very open and trusting relationship between us. Petia was also very available over text and email (and calls, when appropriate) throughout the process, and her respectful but firm nudges really helped me stay on track in terms of time management during the application season.
I am thankful to Petia for her guidance and support during my MBA application journey – her unequivocal support for submitting authentic applications without worrying too much about what the admissions committee wants to hear was an invaluable resource for me, in addition to her contributions towards managing my timelines and establishing compelling (but honest) narratives. Even if my admissions results had been different, I would recommend Petia just as highly as a coach who brings out the best in her candidates without compromising on their authentic stories.
When I came to Petia, all I had was my GRE score, a list of schools I might want to apply to, and a LOT of anxiety about how to move through the process. Petia’s genuine warmth and wealth of expertise during our complimentary session immediately put me at ease, and I knew this was someone I could trust as a partner in the application process.
Throughout the process, Petia was responsive, engaged, and quick to not only give constructive feedback, but to point out areas of strength in my application. She was a much needed voice of reason as I crafted my essays, honed my resume and pressed submit when the time came. There was no question too small, and often Petia would offer to hop on a call to work something out face-to-face instead of just a transactional email.
With Petia’s help, I got into a reach school I’d originally felt embarrassed even saying I wanted to attend out loud. I can honestly say I don’t think that would have been possible without her guidance, and I would recommend her to anyone at any point in the application process!!
Petia was extremely helpful through the entire process. She took the time to get to know me, and my background, and to understand what specifically I was trying to transmit with my application materials. She was extremely useful in the essay/package edit phase, as well as interview prep. I was rejected from HBS without interview the year before I worked with her, and admitted the year after with her advice. I don’t think she was the sole determining factor, but she had a very strong impact.
I loved working with Petia. I only had about a month or so before my MMM application had to be submitted to Kellogg but with Petia’s support, I ended up submitting an extremely polished and exciting application.
Petia was particularly helpful when it came to validating the strength of my essay stories. I was truthfully very nervous that my essays weren’t strong, but Petia conducted a detailed review of my essays and reassured me that I had such a strong foundation to run with. We continued tweaking parts of my essay and worked on fine-tuning together, and I’m so happy that I worked with her. Petia’s admissions experience is extremely valuable. She had key insights that really opened my eyes during the process.
I know Admissions Consultants are expensive, but Petia is worth it. Even if you have limited time and a smaller budget, please consider reaching out to Petia for at least hourly support because she will provide you with a strong gut-check and ensure that you are submitting something special.
As a first time MBA applicant, I wanted guidance on how to structure my essay based on my unique essay prompt. Petia went above and beyond in helping me understand the WHY and HOW to polish my entire application given the tight deadline. She was very responsive with email communication and flexible with appointment scheduling. I got into my target school with partial scholarship, thanks to her in no small part!
Working with Petia was an absolute game-changer for me. Her industry expertise and guidance helped me navigate the long journey of business school applications and I am incredibly grateful for her support.
I come from a non-traditional business school background, so I had doubts about my ability to stand out among the pool of highly qualified applicants. Petia, however, was able to bring out the confidence in me from the very first meeting. She possesses a deep understanding of what top-tier schools are looking for from her former experiences as a Dean of Admissions. She was able to identify and highlight the unique qualities and experiences that made me a strong candidate.
Petia took the time to get to know me on a personal level, and through though-provoking conversations, she helped me articulate my goals, passions, and motivations. Throughout this entire process, Petia was an incredible source of support and encouragement. She was always accessible, and addressed my concerns and questions promptly. Her positive attitude, genuine enthusiasm, and unwavering belief in my potential was instrumental in keeping me focused and motivated.
I am eternally grateful for her invaluable help in realizing my business school journey and I cannot thank her enough for the impact that she has had on the trajectory of my life.
I recall discovering the Petia My MBA Path page during the MBA Tours online event. I was ecstatic to learn that I would be coached for free for a month by an experienced MBA admissions consultant. Our first encounter was quite eventful, and I looked forward to more sessions. She is fantastic, deeply committed to her student’s success, knowledgeable about the MBA application process, and incredibly sweet. Petia became my mentor and my friend. She assisted me in drafting my resume, which I struggled with, coming from a non-business background. Her advice and MBA toolkit were instrumental in bringing my story to life in my essays. I felt more confident going into my interviews after the mock interview she organized. She was there for me throughout the process, and I am grateful to her. I got accepted into Kellogg, Haas, Tuck, and UNC Kenan-Flagler with offers of generous scholarship awards and a Forte Fellow. I strongly recommend that prospective MBA applicants reach out to her if they want to be successful in their MBA applications.
Petia is an incredibly genuine, committed, and motivated mentor, and I am very grateful to have had her support in my application. Petia’s extensive experience, down-to-earth candor, and commitment to my goals were instrumental in turning my pipedream into a reality. Applying as an International student to a deferred program without much familiarity with the MBA admissions regime, Petia’s comments and guidance demystified the process and proved an invaluable North Star – she is incredibly prompt, has a terrific understanding of her clients, and consistently goes above and beyond. I would emphatically recommend Petia’s services to anyone looking for help.
Working with Petia was the best decision I made during the MBA application process. She simplified the entire process and gave me the tools and information necessary to succeed. As a former Dean of Admissions, Petia knew exactly how to position my story in a way that would stand out and resonate with AdComs of the six schools to which I applied. From resume critiquing to essay ideating and editing to mock interview prep, Petia works with you every step of the way. She’s reachable truly whenever you need her, and she fully invests in her clients. Even after admissions decisions were released, Petia worked with me to negotiate scholarships among the three schools that offered financial aid to me. I wholeheartedly recommend that any serious MBA applicant works with Petia on either a comprehensive or hourly basis.
I went to Petia after my R1 results. I got waitlisted at my dream school and rejected from my target schools. Needless to say, I was pretty despondent. She came recommended by another prospective student (I wasn’t surprised when I later found out that this person too had secured several admits from top schools).
I used Petia’s hourly services for 2 schools (a mock interview for one and a waitlist update for my dream school). Right from my very first free consultation with her, we “clicked”. I found her to be genuinely warm and caring. This was a breath of fresh air from the very transactional conversations I’d had with other consultants.
The thing that struck me most about Petia was that she believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Not only did she give me extremely thoughtful, specific, and honest feedback, but she also pointed out my strengths and encouraged me when I had lost all hope – and for that, I will be eternally grateful. I walked into the interview feeling much more confident and did well. Her advice was also very helpful when she reviewed my waitlist update. She pointed out a couple of things that weren’t working and told me how to best position my accomplishments and tailor them to the school. I trusted her throughout the process – she really knows her stuff and is incredibly insightful as an ex-ad com member.
Thanks to her, I got accepted to both schools! She also helped me with scholarship letters and I successfully managed to secure additional funding as a result of her input. Petia is also a fantastic person and I am truly grateful to have met someone like her. Highly recommend!
Petia is an incredible person, coach, and now friend who was instrumental in the success of my application. Throughout the journey, Petia always showed up prepared, happy and full of sage advice to help me efficiently articulate the message I desired to present to the admissions committees. During the interview stage, working with Petia helped me enter the interview confident that I was prepared for any questions the interviewer may ask. In short, the best decision I made during the application process was choosing Petia as my primary consultant, and I recommend all future applicants do the same.
Petia was the first to tell me that the best results come from leveraging all of your resources. And boy, am I glad I added her to my team! Her tune-up packages were the perfect complement to the work that I was personally doing. She provided guidance and strength in some of the most stressful moments of the application and was pivotal in strategy. I am so glad that I met her on the MBA tour. She helped me every step of the way during this MBA journey including strategy, essay writing, interview prep, and even some needed therapy. Do yourself a favor and at least sign up to have a 15 min intro call with her.
Petia is truly a wonderful, warm, and genuine person to work with. She guided me through the application process and was a sounding board from the very beginning to the end of the process, including essay topic selection, approaching recommenders, networking with the schools, and negotiating scholarships. At each step of the way, Petia is extremely thoughtful and practical in her advice, and uses her prior experience as a Dean of Admissions to key in on what schools and admissions committees care about. She is generous and flexible with her time, and always prompt to respond. I found her interview prep to be incredibly accurate to real life. What I appreciated the most was Petia’s passion for her applicants, which resonated throughout the application process. I felt that she truly saw and understood me as a person, and worked with me to present the best version of myself in my application. She gave me the boost of confidence and guidance I needed to get through the stress and ambiguity of the MBA application. I couldn’t recommend a consultant more – Petia is a true champion and friend to her applicants!
Petia, for me, was a passionate and empathetic coach who brought in tons of experience and industry knowledge. I worked with her for R1 interviews, R2 applications and subsequent decision-making, and throughout all of it, she was the calm, confident coach who helped alleviate my anxieties. She went above and beyond the admissions consultant job description and made sure every piece of the puzzle was solved, despite my million requests/questions. The thing I liked the most was that she was very candid with her feedback and always had clear-cut next steps for me.
10/10 would recommend her!
Petia is an outstanding consultant who provided invaluable guidance throughout my MBA admissions process. I believe that Petia’s experience as a former dean of admissions gives her a unique perspective that would be tough to rival. As someone with few peers going through the MBA admissions process, she was extremely helpful in educating me about all the ins and outs of the admissions process and developing a plan for success. Writing my essays with Petia’s help was a joy. She did a great job breaking down each essay prompt tactically and helping through the review process. She is also kind, easy to work with, and always willing to be a sounding board when discussing concerns and questions.
Not only did Petia help me through the admissions process, but she also provided guidance on how I could negotiate a scholarship appeal once I was accepted to my top schools. I would absolutely recommend Petia to anyone who is looking for admissions guidance.
I worked with Petia for one month through her Sprints program. It was a rewarding experience and I appreciated Petia’s direct and helpful guidance!
Petia blends honesty, genuine helpfulness, and deep MBA admissions knowledge into an incredibly satisfying consulting experience!
Petia is one of those consultants who has genuinely made it her mission to ensure that you have a successful application. She’s a subject matter expert with the credentials and connections to back it up, which means anxious MBA applicants can take her word as gospel. However, that’s not what you’ll love about working with her. She’s highly invested in your success: In fact, I signed up for a 1-hour mock interview session with her but ended up speaking with her for over 2 hours, and she also went above and beyond by giving me the material she’d used to prepare for the mock interview session, which had a ton of additional questions and information. I’m not a great interviewer, but Petia built my confidence over a mere 2-hour meeting, and I ended up acing every interview I was invited to (and got admitted to all those schools with scholarships). While I have not worked with her on anything else, I can confidently say that every minute you spend with her is worth an hour you would spend on your own, or with another consultant. Highly recommend!
Petia has been an incredible mentor who guided me along my application journey! Despite only having signed up for the ‘Tune Up’ package, Petia really went above and beyond to make sure all components of my application (essays and interview prep) were at their best so that I could put my best foot forward. I ended up getting into five amazing programs, with very generous scholarships, and I am very grateful to Petia for all her help! For anyone looking for help with MBA applications – I could not recommend Petia more. Whether you need a sounding board for brainstorming, help with school selection, mock interview coach or just a second opinion from an industry expert, look no further!
Petia was wonderful to interact with during my consultation. She went above and beyond to understand my journey and provided informative insights on my application profile. I greatly appreciate her passion for embracing applicants. She is a true inspiration to the MBA community. Consulting with her made me feel at ease and confident in the application process. I highly recommend her!
Based on her experience, Petia really understands what admissions teams are looking for. Within just a few hours, she helped me ensure my story was told in a way that the admissions committee would appreciate. She was very candid about the areas I needed to improve in my essays, and I appreciated that honesty over sugar-coated feedback.
I worked with Petia on my essays and boy did she whip them into shape. I pretty much did much of my admission process myself, but when it came to the essays I got stuck. I shopped around for someone to help and then came across Petia on LinkedIn. I got a free 30-minute session and we had an instant connection. She read an essay I wrote and immediately told me where I needed to rework and demystified the essay writing process. I immediately paid for a package and we set out to work – even on New Year’s day before my final submission deadline Petia sat with me to review every line of my essays, guiding me on how to put my best foot forward and what admissions really wanted to see. It worked! I got into 3 top schools and I can say I’d never have made it this far without her!
Petia is patient yet honest, and I certainly credit her for my success in the HBS interview! She not only provided a tremendously accurate representation of how the interview would flow but provided tangible and actionable feedback on how to improve prior to the actual interview. Her experience with folks across a broad range of professions is evident, and her true care for the success of her clients distinguished her from other coaches I’d worked with. 10/10 would recommend her services!
Petia is an amazing consultant who really cares about her clients’ success. She is extremely dedicated, professional, and provides candid and immensely valuable feedback to empower you to put your best application forward. We worked together on all aspects of my application, and Petia helped me tailor my materials to make sure the highlights of my essay and resume are better presented to the admissions committee. Her experience as a former Dean of Admissions helped me navigate the application process a lot better as she always provided the most targeted and efficient support. Through Petia’s help, I gained admission to Wharton and received a scholarship.
I would highly recommend Petia to anyone who is seeking help in the application process. She is a sincere friend and a great mentor!
Working on your B-school application can be daunting with lots of small tasks and conflicting information. Through Petia’s help, I managed to secure admission to my dream school: Chicago Booth!
I worked with Petia on Monthly Sprints and several one-hour sessions for essay reviews and mock interviews. The amount of energy she gave in every engagement is super! Her experience as a Dean of Admissions helped me put my best foot forward in my application. She really knows what to do and what not to do in your applications and interviews.
Petia is a great friend, she is a great listener and is always thoughtful to me and my fellow sprint-mates. She is not picky with time as well! I am definitely going to miss the weekly session we have in Sprints. Having sprint-mates is also helpful, we can help and motivate each other.
You can never go wrong with Petia. I encourage you to set up a session with her and try her sprints. She’s creating a game-changing program in MBA admissions consulting!
I approached Petia because I was looking for interview preparation. Petia helped me by giving valuable feedback, dedication, and lots of practice. From the moment I met her, I realized she is not only an expert in the whole process of MBA admissions but also a life coach who understands your needs. I found her methodology very useful, and she made me feel so comfortable in our interview mock tests. I learned from her how to tell my own story clearly and cleverly. Her experience as a former Dean of admissions and her practical mindset made the whole preparation process worthwhile. Also, her willingness to be flexible with meeting times was much appreciated. The result was incredible! I got admitted with two scholarships! I would highly recommend Petia to anyone who is looking to get admitted to their dream business school. She is simply the best!
Petia was an amazing consultant to work with. She was extremely responsive and conveyed her feedback in an empathetic and thoughtful way, respectfully pointing out areas for improvement with strong reasoning. Always available as a terrific sounding board, she helped me navigate the ambiguity of the business school admissions process with more confidence than I ever would’ve been able to on my own. Additionally, I greatly appreciated the personalized approach Petia provided. She never made me feel like just another customer, and that showed through not only in her feedback on my application approach and in essays but also through my interactions with her. She truly connects with you, your interests, and your life beyond what goes on your application – an approach that, upon further reflection, helped me craft a more compelling narrative.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Petia to anyone for any type of assistance – she is extremely generous with her time, always prompt to respond, and genuinely wants you to succeed. Thank you Petia!
Petia is what any true MBA consultant should be – not just an advisor or a counselor, but also a true champion on your application journey. Her deep knowledge of the admissions process and thoroughness when working on your materials are matched only by her enthusiasm and her genuine interest in seeing you succeed. It was a pleasure working with her, and my application benefited tremendously from her insights.
Petia is an excellent consultant. I come from an unusual professional background for an MBA candidate and knew I needed help navigating my applications — specifically to understand the differences in what each of my programs looks for in an application and how to best translate my resume into something understood by my schools.
After interviewing multiple people to help me along my MBA journey, feeling discouraged, I was sent to Petia and everything clicked. She understood me! Her experience as a dean of admissions, cultural interests, and passion for storytelling fueled a professional and personal relationship that made the post-GMAT application process a happy experience.
Petia pushed me on my essays, gave me a timeline to work against, and challenged me to iterate stronger and stronger work. It is because of her that I felt I submitted my strongest application possible, every time.
Coming in as a reapplicant after waitlists and rejections, I was not sure if I was ever going to get any offer from my dream schools. While researching for a new MBA consultant, I was recommended to Petia. We kicked off our first conversation very well. So I decided to purchase a few hours to try it out. It turned out to be the best decision I made on my reapplications.
First, Petia provided such a depth of experience and insight of admission committee. Through our work together, she demystified the process of how admission officers evaluated candidates for me and helped me navigate through the best route of establishing my application packages, far beyond just helping me on essays. She helped me understand how each element of the application support the others organically, which I believe is the key to my success in earning four MBA admissions.
More importantly, Petia also became a supportive buddy throughout my reapplication journey. She always highlighted my strengths whenever I felt discouraged, reminding me of my potential that would impress the schools uniquely than the rest of the applicant pools. She was very patient in answering my questions over and over again. I was able to leverage her brainstorming questions and constantly rethought the way I approached each and every detail of my essays.
Lastly, Petia and I built a strong collaborative relationship beyond my MBA journey. We constantly connect outside the application topic and share about professional life and entrepreneurship, which has been inspiring to me on thinking of my post-MBA career path and ambition.
I strongly recommend Petia to anyone who seeks both professional advice and a supportive vibe on his/her MBA applications.
I came to Petia after applying to multiple MBA programs. While I was on the WL during the monumental 2020-2021 academic year, I wanted a fresh perspective on how to handle the MBA Waitlist process and get an overall perspective on my materials. Petia gave an honest truthful assessment of my application and background. She guided me step by step through the waitlist process, giving me personalized feedback based on what I submitted in quick time. She was amazingly flexible and almost always available. She is not a clockwatcher and wants her clients to get the best information possible so they can put their best foot forward. She is also a great mentor, where she guided me through the decision-making process when I didn’t get into my selected schools and gave me a positive path forward. She is unbiased, humble, honest, friendly, and empathetic. She always goes above and beyond what is asked of her. She doesn’t see me as only data points on an application when giving advice, she looked at me in a holistic way helping me bring out my strengths in a very competitive process. She is the best consultant I have worked with and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone
As an applicant with a non-traditional background and a non-linear career trajectory, I knew I needed an admissions consultant who would provide me with an objective and unbiased view to help me shape and strengthen my story and application.
After assessing several large name brand companies, Petia, as an independent consultant stood apart. Right from the first email exchanges and till the last. Petia has always been thoughtful and her dedication truly reflects in her work. She was always quick to respond, super punctual and always available to help. Petia makes the experience really personalized and the advice is super tailored, which one may not get from larger companies.
Starting off, Petia is kind, generous, and patient when helping prospective MBA candidates. She’s also very honest, and right off the bat let me know where she thought I stood as a candidate, and suggested that, for my needs, some of the less intensive packages she offers would be a better fit. I was struggling with a direction as an EMBA applicant, and she helped me discover not only what types of things I wanted to do post-MBA by connecting me with other professionals, but also helped me craft my experience and my story in such a way that gave me confidence during my interviews. She was always readily available with insight, tips, and suggestions. Her guidance helped me get into my top choices (both top part-time programs) with generous scholarships while juggling an incredibly demanding work and personal life schedule. I highly recommend Petia and My MBA Path to anyone!
First off, Petia is kind, patient and really cares about her client’s success. I had 2 sessions with her to prepare for my Duke interview. At first, I struggled with some behavioral and situational questions but she was able to help me structure my story to convey my message. I really enjoyed working with Petia and I will give her 100% in everything. I like people who are personal and are supportive. Thank you Petia. I owe my MBA success story to you…
