When everyone claims to be “the leading MBA admissions company,” do words matter anymore? Who are you supposed to believe?
To be frank, we don’t pay a ton of attention to the field. Our objective can be summed up in one word: “Win.”
We don’t mess around. Our temperament comes from––in all candor––age and experience and enormous success. We keep a lower profile than others, but that’s part of our story. Our word of mouth from former clients is so powerful, we have the luxury to remain focused on the work, rather than on promoting ourselves. (As future business people, just think about how cool that is.) We’re able to dedicate all our time to helping our clients win by getting into elite business schools, and setting them up for success well beyond. If that kind of professional formula sounds like a good match for what you’re all about, come meet us. Let’s find out if we’ll click.
A lot of firms sport elite former Adcoms. And elite MBAs. And eye-popping stats and success and reviews. So…
Yes. If we were in your shoes, our eyes would glaze over, too. But you’ll do your due diligence––and we encourage it. Picking the right coach is important. In the end, you’ll have a strong sense of who’s for real and who’s all flair but no substance. Who offers a sincere, intelligent assessment versus who will prey on your anxiety. Our advice: put together a shortlist of firms, and go meet as many as you need. Get a feel. If you’re truly top MBA material, we’re confident you’ll recognize the unmistakable signature of experience, excellence and sincerity. In your bones.
Cool, but what’s The MBA Exchange’s… thing? What, if anything, makes your firm different?
[*As you get older and wiser, you start to realize how important this is, and more interestingly… how rare. Our M.O. at The MBA Exchange since our inception has been to only invite not just the smartest and most accomplished professionals onto our team, but also only those people who are genuinely “good eggs.” People we genuinely like. People we find to be mature and dependable and committed to others’ success. It may seem like a strange differentiator to call out, but honestly, that’s the one that may matter most at the end of the day.]
We offer three different packages to accommodate individuals with different needs and budgets. Our Gold and Platinum packages include everything under the sun: deep strategic guidance plus comprehensive essay development, along with all the supporting elements such as interview prep, resume and LOR support, and unlimited access to your MBA consultant. We also offer a more economical Silver package (starting at $3,450) for those who prefer a more targeted experience: deep strategy plus essay development (and the flexibility to add on any individual elements as needed).

Working with Talon as my MBA admissions consultant was truly life-changing. While attending an M7 program had been my dream, I didn’t believe I was capable of achieving it… until I met Talon. She possesses an exceptional ability to immediately recognize the strengths in others. Talon guided me through unpacking the challenging yet meaningful parts of my journey, helping me realize that elements I had previously considered vulnerabilities were, in fact, strengths. Her clear strategic approach to my campaign, combined with her undaunted honesty, practical optimism, reassurance, and unwavering belief in me, provided the confidence I needed to work hard and pursue my M7 dream.
With Talon’s exceptional storytelling skills, dedication, tireless work ethic, attentiveness, energy, and enthusiasm, I was not only accepted into two M7 programs (MIT & Booth) but also awarded scholarships at each. Additionally, I received interview invitations from CBS and Tuck, although I withdrew from the process upon accepting an offer from my dream program, MIT.
Talon assisted me in overcoming several significant hurdles during our journey, including low test scores, education/employment gaps, and challenging conversations with my employer regarding sponsorship. Through each of these obstacles, Talon provided valuable coaching, offering both positive affirmations to boost my confidence and practical advice on successfully navigating these tough situations.
Her approach is truly holistic. When Talon noticed a decline in my output, she courageously encouraged me to confront the harsh reality that prioritizing sleep was essential to bring out my best in my GRE studies and writing. Studying relentlessly while sleep-deprived wasnt getting me anywhere. I credit this critical shift to enabling me to achieve the test score that I needed.
Beyond facilitating a successful admissions process, working with Talon taught me valuable lessons that I’ve applied to my day job. She taught me the importance of celebrating the achievements of my colleagues and outwardly supporting them, all while modeling how to be a better mentor to others.
I wholeheartedly recommend Talon. She will change your life!
You want Talon by your side as you navigate this complex and daunting MBA admissions process. On my first call with her, I knew my time working with her would be fruitful. She has great energy and is big on listening and understanding your story! She made sure on every step of the way that I felt that my story was represented the way I wanted it to be and was 100% authentic to who I was, As it was essential for me to be authentic. She has an excellent work ethic, infectious energy, and great experience with admissions, which comes in handy whenever you feel unconfident during the process. I came from a nontraditional background without a GMAT score and less than two years of experience. And Talon rose to the challenge, and how!!!! She has this knack for asking all the right questions, which makes you remind even the most minor things about yourself/your achievements that can be a part of a very compelling application package. She has been such a positive and encouraging presence throughout the process but also asking hard questions and giving a reality check when needed. With her help, I got into a program of my choice with a 70% scholarship and a Forte Fellowship.
I would 200% recommend Talon if you want to get your MBA. At least set up an intro call with her, and you’ll see what I’m talking about!!!
I cannot recommend Talon enough. She will be your secret weapon, your wisest advisor, and your biggest cheerleader.
She excels at making an intimidating process manageable through thoughtful scheduling and flexibility to understand you have other things happening in your life. She also has an incredible knack for pulling out the most compelling aspects of your story for AdCom, personally guiding me to focus on a part of my story I initially thought was irrelevant.
While she was excellent throughout, she really excelled while helping me fight my way off the waitlist at my dream school. She expertly helped me position myself on the waitlist while also motivating me through trying times as challenges kept coming my way.
In the end, Talon helped me get into two Top-15 programs, a full ride scholarship offer, and zero rejections. If you work with Talon, you’ll not only get the results you want but you’ll enjoy the journey!
Talon was encouraging, positive, responsive, and gave wonderful tough love throughout the application process. She pushed me to think outside of the box and hold a mirror up to myself in order to show AdComs my truest self. She was a joy to work with and I recommend you work with her if you want to be considered by your dreams schools!
Choosing to work with Talon was the best decision of my B-school application journey. I had two hurdles to cross – one, I had to differentiate myself from an overrepresented pool of Indian applicants and two, justify my below-average GMAT score. On top of the hurdles, I was planning to apply to just one business school and had just 40 days to complete my application.
Talon rose to the challenge and how! During my first phone conversation with Talon, she promised that she’d make me feel proud of my application. Her words seemed difficult to believe at that point as I was running against time and my self-doubt was at a feverish high.
She created a customized timeline for me and made sure I adhered to it. I corresponded with Talon almost every day for 40 consecutive days. She understood what I was going through as an applicant and knew exactly what to say – whether it was words of encouragement to keep me going or tough love on deadlines.
There are a few points about Talon that I believe helped me the most.
1.Introspection – this was the most important phase of my application journey. Being objective about one’s life journey is not easy but that’s exactly what B-school applications are about. Talon’s inputs were invaluable during this phase. Talon’s fantastic ability to ask the right questions at the right time and cut through the noise helped me dig deep and find connections amongst seemingly disconnected events in my life. 2.Responsiveness – Talon usually responded within 12 hours or less. I’m based in South Asia, so the time-zone difference between Talon’s work hours and mine worked really well for us and helped me complete my application on time. 3.Ability to make stories come alive – this is pure magic! I had several fangirl moments watching Talon at work. She brought my stories to life by strategically modifying critical parts of my application.
In just one month, I had transformed into a more self-aware individual who had an elevator pitch at the ready. After I hit the “submit” button, I genuinely felt proud of my work. The confidence I gained after the introspection journey was so rewarding. Having come to the other side, I can vouch for Talon’s credibility. Trusting Talon right from day one helped me get into my dream B-school. I’m so grateful for Talon’s support all along!
Having spoken with several consultants, I chose to work with Talon and quickly found several reasons to celebrate this decision.
Talon is extraordinarily supportive, almost always available within a 12-hour window (usually even faster), incredibly empathetic, and superbly competent in navigating the challenges of the application process.
Talon helped me put my best foot forward, overcoming several challenges – as an applicant of South Asian origin working in private equity for almost 8 years, my biggest concerns were presenting a sufficiently differentiated story amongst a highly competitive pool, justifying my above-median age, and creating enough time in the day to work on my applications. Talon made the process seamless and helped me gain a higher degree of self-awareness. She helped me craft a compelling story that got me into my top choice M7 school.
Talon was also uniquely supportive through the days where my self-belief was low. She helped me manage my motivation and rejuvenate my energy when my GRE score came in below expectations, and when I was struggling to put words together in cogent sentences. She took an interest in my personal life and individual struggles that truly brought out the best version of my story.
Suffice to say that the first person I told about my admission was Talon. She is an amazing partner to work with and I cannot stress her role in my admission enough!
After having a less than stellar experience with a consultant from a different firm, I felt demoralized applying to b school again. My stats were on the lower end, but Talon rose to the challenge! I was honest with her about my past experience from the get go, and she was not only receptive but genuinely took my concerns to heart. Through our time working together, Talon gave me authentic encouragement when I had self-doubt and tough love when I fell behind on a deadline. She was able to help me tell my story effectively and embolden the parts that I was most proud of. I overcame several hurdles during the application process, and Talon’s approach remained genuine, involved, and enthusiastic.
When I got the acceptance call from my first choice MBA program (T15), Talon was the first to know. I am so grateful to have worked with someone of her caliber.
