Big Life Wins:

1) During my time in the Navy, I assisted in building and rebuilding schools in remote pacific and south-east Asian countries that had been destroyed by internal conflict or natural disasters. 2) Through the strong work product delivered as the workstream lead on a client engagement, I was able to close a $1m+ 12 month contract extension.

Post MBA Goal:

You’ll stand out being Australian and your work building schools in your military role offers an interesting community element that ties well into your extracurriculars mentoring and helping at-risk youth. Be sure to explain why you want to go into consulting (SOOO many applicants do) and perhaps be open to firms other than MBB for your ST goal since there’s so much competition there.
