This could be a concern for the Admissions Committee. As for your GPA, if there were any circumstances that affected your grades, do consider explaining them in the optional essay. If you have time, consider retaking the GMAT. Even a 10- or 20-point bump could make your application more competitive. Or if you find yourself hitting a ceiling with the GMAT, look into the GRE. The study material is similar, but some applicants find the GRE test format more suited to their test-taking style. My estimate of your odds is based on applying now with a 720.
