I recently finished a 10-month deployment leading a COVID-19 Vaccination Mega-Site. I served as the Army Commander for the southern partition of the state and scaled an operation peaking at ~6000 vaccines a day. We vaccinated ~500k members of the state & received a commendation from elected officials, FEMA & the CDC for our throughput & leadership.
Long term: I am interested either where Life Sciences bisects VC, or in a Biotech startup. My father was battling an extremely rare form of cancer for 6+ yrs and lost. His oncologist advised us research surrounding this cancer was woefully underfunded. I want to advance organizations that combat this, either as a direct employee or through funding.
