My decision to return to school for a doctorate degree in Pharmacy, eventually leading me towards a path to the school’s Student Government Association President. Helped manage a budget of over $50,000, communicated across several interdisciplinary teams, presented new school initiatives.
I intend to stay in Big Pharma to become a Director or Vice President of Clinical Operations or Supply Chain Management and lead larger teams within the next 10 years. I foresee my management practices translate over to other healthcare companies and perhaps one day become a COO or Chief Science Officer in the far-future.

Hi, it’s Nisha from mbaMission! Clinical trials: what a fascinating area, especially in this day and age! Your ambitions in the space are admirable – what you’ll want to make clear in your application, though, is how an MBA will help you advance within the field of CT operations based on what will be expected of you in more senior roles (aside from, of course, leading large teams – the MBA will certainly give you the leadership skills for that). But I like a lot of aspects of your profile – solid GPA in a very challenging major, your longstanding track record of extracurricular leadership, and the distinctive nature of your background and career goals. Best of luck!
Mr. Clinical Trial Ops – Thanks for posting your profile! Susan Cera here from Stratus.
I really like your profile for IU-Kelley. Your longer work experience will enable you to bring a unique perspective to classroom discussions. You have strong engagement outside of your work and your military stint will be honored.
It will be imperative that you indicate why you need an MBA and why NOW is the right time for you to get it. What are the areas you need to focus on during business school that will set you up for success in your future roles and how can IU-Kelley, specifically, help you to address them.

I think you will find success at IU-Kelley. Given your interest in the healthcare space and in supply chain, you might also take a look at WashU Olin (they are very generous to military!) Another option might be Michigan Ross.
Wishing you all the best on your journey!
You’ll probably get in, but why do you want an MBA?
