Hi Mr. Colombian M7 Deferral, Kristen from MBA Prep School here. You certainly have a lot going for you in your quest for deferred admission. Being hired by a top-tier firm like Bain puts the stamp of approval on you from a professional standpoint. You will want to showcase any special projects or responsibilities you were given during your internships to highlight the experiences you have had. Something I don’t see in the profile you provided is extracurricular activities. This is a great way to demonstrate leadership and teamwork at the undergraduate level when you haven’t yet had the chance to prove yourself professionally. I have read applications for deferred admit programs from students who were student body president, a fraternity or sorority chapter leader, a team captain, or a club founder. Don’t underestimate the importance of these roles. If you haven’t been an active participant on campus, this may impact your chances. You might also consider MIT Sloan as an option.
