Hi Mr. Entertainment Agency, Melisa here from Stratus Admissions. While you are on the younger side of applicants, I think your smaller firm experience giving you lots of responsibility early will help you back up why now is the right time for you. You will need to focus on how experience packed your 3 years have been – and why being at smaller firms have been great for you. I don’t talk with a lot of people coming from the agency side and think that is a positive for you – helping to differentiate you from other finance guys. I would like you to narrow in on your goals. All of these seem viable options, but where do you want to go long term? If you started in IB, why do you need an MBA to return? Are you looking for a different scale of firm in addition to the buy-side? You’ve got strong stats that will get you a solid look – but you need a compelling story which includes why you need an MBA and what you want to do aspirationally. For Haas specifically – you will want to think through how you embody the defining principles and bring those stories forward. Sounds like you’ve got solid involvement outside of your specific role. While involvement is good – leadership is stronger. Look for opportunities to highlight your leadership. Reach out if I can answer any questions. Best of luck!
