Big Life Wins:

I was awarded a diploma and a medal for being in the top 1% of the Graduate Exam (Sort of like a GMAT that is needed for you to graduate from your bachelor) in Colombia by the Government. I did a 1 year internship at the biggest automation company in the world (Fortune 500), and on my first job after college I entered one of the 100 biggest companies in Colombia (At the HQ Office) and I was in charge of the Employer Branding of the company, in which I did a lot of significant alliances with the best colleges in the country plus I managed the High Potential Program. In my current job I was the first HR employee and was there when we were 30 in 2 countries (now 250 in over 5+) and in my 3 year tenure, I’ve been promoted and created all the benefits, rules, recruiting process, employer branding, culture, etc. from ground up and have had amazing results (engagement, turnover, growth, etc.).

Post MBA Goal:

I plan to shift from HR to consulting or general management. Even though I love HR and I´ve had a great career I want to have an even higher impact in the workplace and take decisions not only for HR but for the whole company (this shift is part of my essay/story).
