Hi Everyone, I am a first-generation URM MBA applicant. I have been working since I was 12 to help support my family with expenses and started off at a community college. I graduated at the top of my class and got a full scholarship to Amherst College. I like to describe my work experience as giving back to the ones healthcare fails to care for.

I created the first research-focused center for Transgender and Nonbinary patients (TGNB). Our current health system fails to provide the services TGNB patients need because they are poorly represented in clinical trials. I was recognized by the state government for my contributions to giving back to the most vulnerable members.
I want to do consulting and strategy at a leading firm for several years before I return to the hospital setting. That way, I can learn the ins and out of capitalistic systems operation and then return the same rigor and discipline to the hospital to enhance the patient experience with a DEI focus as a Hospital Chief Strategy Officer.
