And I think you answered this through your experience in interviewing for jobs and this insight will be very beneficial to your applications. While you obviously had some strong work experiences, and the international experience is strong, I am concerned about your GPA, not knowing where you are from a testing perspective. You’ve got some pretty competitive schools on your list – and in order to overcome your lower than average GPA, you will need a strong test score. You have mentioned applying in R3 in the profile, and I would strongly encourage you to consider R2 as an international student. Even before Covid schools wanted international applicants to apply in R2 to ensure time to process visas and in Covid that is even more difficult. All of the Top 25 programs have STEM options associated with the MBA – either as the full program or a major/concentration/track/etc. For placement into tech, I would consider looking at Washington Foster or Carnegie Mellon Tepper – which have fantastic ties to the tech industry and are a bit less competitive from a stats perspective.
