I have been working as an Individual contributor for a long time. I love solving problems and now I realize that the problems I am looking to solve are outside of the cubicle I have been residing in for almost more than 40 hours of the week. This pushed me into joining a non-profit consulting service where we help other non-profits accomplish their goals.

Hi Ms. Concerned Party, Thanks for posting your profile. This is Debbie Choy from mbaMission. I think you have a very solid professional background, but I also agree with you that you have more work experience than most applicants to the 2-year full time MBA program. The average GMAT score for the PT program is also lower than that for the full-time program. Your GPA and GMAT score would be a bit soft for the full-time program, but in line for the PT program. As you put your app together, be sure to articulate why MBA? Given your background, what specific skills are you seeking to learn at b-school to help you pivot into Product Management or Product Marketing? My estimate of your odds are based on the 2-year full time program, but for the PT program, your chances should be better. If you wish to discuss your profile in further detail, feel free to schedule a consultation with us. Wishing you the best in your MBA journey!
