Besides my full-time job, I volunteered as a consultant in my firm and made it earn an additional revenue of 100 000 euros/year. I am very proud of some of the children I taught (they are in law schools, medical schools, etc).
I plan to work 2 years as a strategy consultant in a top tier firm and then transition to operations management and probably end my career as a CEO or COO.

Very impressive and you are very likable as well. I have no doubt that in person you would sparkle just as you have in this very brief writeup. I agree with Kate’s assessment that your background offsets below average GPA and GMAT for Wharton. And I love your goal!
Hi, this is Deepak Punwani from MBA Exchange. What a powerful profile. Lots to like as has been pointed out earlier. What I loved the most in your short profile is your clarity of where you are going and how that fits in the overall narrative of your life. For example, you seem quite content to spend 2 years at a MBB kind of firm and then move to an operational role. And you have the clarity to follow a professional path and at same time have a passion around education. Makes me stick my neck out and say that you may be in top 10% on self awareness. This will really work in your favor. I am bullish on your chances at all schools …

And as a post script, your work in nuclear and naval shipyard’s is “golden” for strategy consulting firms. So go for it and wish you best of luck.
Hi Ms. Future CEO! This is Kate Richardson, Senior Admissions Consultant. Your two princesses are lucky to have such an impressive mother! A female engineer in the nuclear energy sector is impressive enough on its own, and then combining that with your background from Africa and now working in France, I think Wharton is going to love you. Your track record of giving back and believing in education is admirable, and I encourage you to use some of the more personal essays (like Wharton’s 2nd one) to explore that motivation more deeply. I also think you’d be a good candidate for a top strategy consulting role, as they’ll like the analytical and team lead skills you bring. Your GPA and GMAT are a tad below …

Your GPA and GMAT are a tad below Wharton’s averages, but considering all the other strong points and the uniqueness of your background, I’m not too worried about those stats for you. If you’re not able to visit Wharton before you apply, do be sure to reach out to members of their community to show your interest. In terms of your other schools, I think you’ve got a shot at Harvard too but odds are lower there. INSEAD, LBS, Kellogg, and Columbia should be better odds. Good luck!
Ms. Future CEO, this is Lisa Cummings of Stratus Admissions. Given your background, that moniker seems very realistic! As my peers have noted, there is a lot to like about your profile, even though your stats are a little low for Wharton. I too feel that your work background and volunteer work will help you rise to the top of the pile. The best thing you can do now is to prepare solidly for those interviews – invitations should be rolling in for you. The Wharton team based interview will play well to your strengths of teamwork and impact. Best of luck.
