Spearheaded the development of a new professional track team sponsored by the brand. Blended lines of my two roles (product and then brand manager) while working x-functionally with sports marketing, legal, and finance to develop the team concept. Also, top 10 in USA in my track event. Training for the upcoming Olympic Trials postponed by Covid-19.
Would like to use my Human Centered Design (HCD) skills in my everyday professional life either in product management or a consulting capacity. If you didn’t take calculus or micro in undergrad, consider taking MBA Math to fill your gaps as well as possibly retaking the GRE. You also want to firm up your career goals, as you mention consulting, entrepreneurship, product management, and sports broadcasting. Do your research around roles that might incorporate your multiple interests so you can present a thoughtful path forward and how each program can help you get there. Lastly, Stanford’s mission is to change lives, change organizations, and change the world. They’ll be looking for example of your past impact, as well as the impact you want to have on the future. Think big! I do think your background is interesting and I like your consideration of Kellogg, as I think it is a good fit for you. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss your application strategy further!
