If you have spent nearly six years working for an unknown startup, without backing from respected VCs, you are going to have a harder time getting into Wharton. If, on the other hand, your firm is backed by the likes of well-known venture capital firms and has been successful, your profile would really stand out. You tick all the other boxes, obviously, Your GRE of 331 is nicely above Wharton’s current class average of 324. You already have a master’s degree in a STEM subject, a real plus for a woman. Just play up your role at the startup and provide enough detail on the firm so that Wharton knows this is a substantial and meaningful company.
