Mx. Avocado Toast – Thanks for posting your profile. Susan Cera here from Stratus. Having spent ~10 years on admissions committee at Fuqua, I understand what they are looking for in potential students.

Your stats are inline with the Fuqua class profile but nothing to write home about. If you have only taken the GRE once, I would recommend retaking to see if you can bring in an above average score to balance out your slightly lower GPA.

You don’t offer a lot of information about your professional work. Fuqua will want to see that you have progressed in you career and understand the contributions and impact you have made. Use your resume to do this and have your recommenders call you out as best in your peer group.

While your scuba diving and mountaineering accomplishments are admirable, they could be perceived as self-serving. Perhaps you learned some lessons about leadership and teamwork through these endeavors. Fuqua looks for candidates who will contribute to the Team Fuqua community. Do your research so you can demonstrate what impact you hope to make during your time in the program and beyond.
