About the Program

National University has offered a respectable on-campus MBA for around 50 years, and this Spring, they launched their online MBA in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership.

Director of Corporate programs Sheno Fuzita who oversees the partnership with the CCL says, “This is a program that takes the best of the Center for Creative Leadership and National University to create an online MBA.”

The program is highly accessible, with tuition costs of just under 20k for the full online MBA. All of the required course materials are open-resource with no required textbooks to purchase. The online MBA offers students flexibility and a fast track to receiving their degree. With just 45 units, the MBA can be completed in one year.

The online MBA has a strong focus in teaching leadership skills. Students will complete fifteen asynchronous courses with the option to attend scheduled office hours. Six of the courses are leadership focused and are taught by CCL faculty as part of their fresh take an MBA. Nine of the courses are typical MBA courses such as Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Management.

“The curriculum is really application-based, so the leadership courses use what students are doing in their daily life and applying theories and methods immediately. For example, in the finance course, students aren’t learning how to create statements, they are learning how to analyze statements for results,” says Fuzita. This program is great for those who want an accessible, flexible, application based online MBA.
