About the Program

The Stanford MSx Program is specifically designed for mid-career professionals who are motivated to lead change and embrace personal and professional growth. More accelerated than a traditional full-time MBA and more intensive than part-time EMBAs, the program offers students a customized, multifaceted year of transformation and growth within the vibrant ecosystems of Stanford GSB and Stanford University.

The academically rigorous curriculum is flexible — with electives comprising more than half of the courses. Electives allow students to customize their degree and explore new subjects and choose the courses that will help achieve career goals.

Program Format and Schedule

The one year Full-time residential program for mid-career professionals requires 60 units for graduation, consisting of 25 core units and 35 required elective units.

The MSx curriculum is academically rigorous and extremely flexible. Core classes will provide students with business fundamentals and electives allow them to tailor their experience. More than half of learning consists of electives, allowing students to gain skills, knowledge and insights. Classes are taught by industry practitioners, along with guest speakers, enhancing academics with real-world experiences.
