Master of Nonprofit Administration’s curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in accounting, legal, ethical, and managerial aspects of the nonprofit world. Engage with Catholic Social Teaching and explore the innovative concepts and strategies of social entrepreneurship. Immerse yourself in hands-on experiential learning with real-world projects, and benefit from Mendoza’s unique Practicum and Synthesis course, which pairs students with nonprofit organizations to put theory into practice. With a focus on strategic management, human resource management, fund development, marketing, and financial management, students will be equipped to make a lasting impact in the nonprofit sector.

Through courses like Accounting for the Nonprofit, Management for the Nonprofit Leader and Fund Development, students acquire insights and strategies to expand the impact of any nonprofit organization with which they choose to work.

Program Format and Schedule

Mendoza’s Master of Nonprofit Administration program is a 10-month, 38 credit hour program of rigorous curriculum designed to deepen students’ knowledge of everything from economics to management to human resources.

Experiential learning is an essential component of your education at Mendoza. Through a variety of hands-on experiences, Mendoza’s practicum offers hands-on engagement with nonprofits, covering diverse projects like social media management and grant writing. In the Spring, students dive deep into Grow Irish Week , opting for either a nonprofit career immersion in a metropolitan city or on-campus activities focused on nonprofit career readiness.
