Description: Your background may get you hired, but your communication skills will ultimately determine if youā€™re promoted. In this course, Bravo will help you recognize how your verbal and nonverbal tics (and how others interpret them) can build relationships or undercut influence.Ā  In particular, the course will feature the ā€œprocess and functions of communication, behavioral patterns, perceptions as realityā€¦confidence, assertiveness, tact, anger management, criticism and constructive feedback, conflict resolution, team building, leadership, interviewing, and communicating more effectively with technology (email, Skype, texting, etc.).ā€ In addition, it will cover how you can create strong first impressions and enhance your listening skills. The course will taught through 8-12 minute lecture videos, with students evaluated through quizzes.

Students will receive a specialization certificate that reflects that they completed three courses (including ā€œHigh Impact Business Writingā€ and ā€œThe Art of Negotiationā€) and a capstone project.
