Description: Being an entrepreneur is fashionable these days. Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg have emerged as the 21st century’s answer to Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett, digital pioneers who opened a new frontier of connectivity and convenience. But being an entrepreneur takes more than a good idea and an unshakable commitment. In this course, students will learn how to launch their own business. In particular, the course will cover “how creativity, opportunity and feasibility are best evaluated; business strategies for new businesses; importance of a business plan; achieving success in a new business.” The course will taught through 8-12 minute lecture videos, with students evaluated through quizzes.
Review: No reviews.
Additional Notes: This is the third part of a Practical Management for Career Readiness specialization available through Coursera. Students will receive a specialization certificate that reflects that they completed three courses (including “Fundamentals of Management” and “Effective Problem-Solving and Decision-Making”) and a capstone project. The total cost of a certification is $196.
