Zaahir Syed, 31, an MBA from UC-Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, and Faizah Malik, 28, were married on Saturday (June 1). Syed is a senior associate responsible for raising capital at Metropolitan Real Estate, a real estate investment fund in Manhattan, while Malik is the counsel and manager of special projects at Single Stop USA, an antipoverty organization. Anna Natasha Joukovsky, 27, who is currently pursuing her MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business, and Michael Jensen McDuffie, 29, were married on Saturday. Joukovsky is a senior membership associate at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, managing fund-raising and marketing to donors, and McDuffie is an associate at the New York law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Greg Geronemus, 27, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and Katherine Sarah Pier, 26, were married on Saturday evening. Geronemus is a founder of Footbridge Partners, a start-up investment firm in New York looking to acquire and operate a business, while Pier is to begin a psychiatry internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Amanda Beth Freedman, 29, who has an MBA from Columbia Business School, and Philip Joseph Orban Jr., 30, were married Saturday. Freedman is a marketing manager for the United States operations of L’Oréal Group, the French beauty products company, while Orban is a principal in Glenmont Capital Management, a real estate investment firm in New York.
